I resisted the temptation of putting figures in the living room for quite a while, just to keep things from being cluttered, and frankly to keep the entire apartment from being 'over-run' if you will. However, I started to look at some of the really, really ornated, detailed pieces, and they deserved to be displayed not just with the other figures, but put out like a piece of art. Hence, the Masterpiece Shelf, where the REALLY good stuff goes out. | ||||||||||||||||||||

The top shelf is composed of robot pieces. At the back, from left to right, are a Kikaida piece from Bandai-Japan's SIC deluxe figure line, G1 Jetfire, the 12" RX-93 Nu Gundam, and juuuuust hiding is Techno-Spawn. In the front, from left to right as well, is a kneeling EVA-01 from Kaiyodo, the deluxe Jet Storm from Beast Machines, the first figure from 'Armor Core 2,' and the FA-93HWS Nu Gundam. |

Next are figures of more warriors from assorted movies. In the back are figures from 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,' most notably Li Mu-Bai. In front are the newest version of Bespin Vader and the excellent Bespin Luke, and also pieces from 'LOTR', such as Aragorn. |

Finally, a mass of superheroes. Biggies to note are the incredible Batman from Legends of the Batman, the Crow from Movie Maniacs, Superman and Martian Manhunter couteousy of DC Direct, and Iron Man from Marvel Legends. |
