Reviews For Oct. 25- Oct. 31

  1. *** My Wife, My Lover, My Friend By Jack Mann
a sweet, sentimental poem-- Jack's wife is deserving of many poems Mary Kay

  2. **** "The Window" By Robyn Porter
I felt just as the author did as she watched the boy. This story was truly a "been there, done that" with a delightful ending. I certainly never felt ho hum. It grabbed my interest at the start and kept it. I thought it was a great story. RUA

  3. **** "2055- Chapter One" By Katie Jordan
This first chapter, was a well written piece. Good character developement. I felt that there wasn't enough descriptions of people, places, or events (Choose one). But over-all, I can't wait for the next chapter. Jessica Sayer

  4. **** "Words On A Breeze" By Kim Knight
This is the kind of poetry I can relate to. When the message is sorrowful or painful, couplet rhymes do not fit the emotion, to my way of thinking. This type of poetry does.... I didn't get into the poem right away, but when I did, I knew the feeling. PJ

  5. **** by Carol Roth
I know I've read it many times. I really like it; it makes me smile in remembrance of some elderly women I've known. Thank you for bringing their memories to the fore of my mind. I wish I knew Mary Lavender, as well. (The rhyme scheme adds to the memories; it doesn't falter, nor sound contrived.) PJ

  6. **** Love Dies by Jennifer Hansen
Ah, unrequited love. All of us can relate at least one time or another in our lives. This poem brought it all back to mind with a few short stanzas. Charilette Rai Sweeney

  7. **** Love Gone by Jennifer Hansen
Very, very good. I think Jennifer's poetry would be perfect in a book geared for young girls. Well, O.K., us old(er) girls too. Charilette Rai Sweeney

  8. *** Freedom! Friend or Foeby Jack Mann
Makes you think. I was kind of mislead by the title for a moment. Mr. Mann there has stated his opinion nice and clearly but I believe there needed to be some paragraphs to make it look less hostile. As usually Mann has written another good debate piece. Jessica Sayer

  9. ***** The Unwanteds By Nathan Black
After reading this story, I'll never look at a another pair of shoes the same. This well consturcted piece of humour should keep those how follow trends on there toes. I greatly enjoyed 'The Unwanteds' and suggest everyone read it. Jessica Sayer

  10. ***** The Vow By Eric Rodriguez
It was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But what I would do is that it was all a dream.(But that was only a suggestion.) Kaylin

  11. ***** My Love By Aaron Martin
A fine poem with good sentiment- a love forever is what we all want Derek Bracer

  12. ***** Be A Better Man by Alice Bateman
Whimsical yet uplifting. Good job Alice. Charilette Rai Sweeney

  13. ***** Blind Date By Jo Ann Mann
I loved it! Simple, moves right along. Made me laugh uproariously outloud. Thank you! Charilette Rai Sweeney

  14. ***** Dr. Andy Mull's Thooo By R.L. Walker
Dr. Suess, eat your heart out. This was really cute. I can imagine it in a children's book with colorful animal graphics. Charilette Rai Sweeney

  15. ***** Dance Of The Starling By Charilette Rai Sweeney
    pleasant and childlike Margie Bell

  16. ***** Dr. Andy Mull's Thooo By R.L. Walker
I don't know who enjoyed this poem more...my grandsons as I acted out the animals in Dr. Andy Mull's Thooo or me. The poem is uplifting, humorous, and just plain FUN. Mr. Walker is a very talented artist. He motivates me, helps me recapture the joys of childhood, and makes me think of what is valuable and missing in our wonderful country. Thank you. Anonymous

  17. ***** My Angel By Jennifer Hansen
    Absolutely wonderful religious poem- Kerry

  18. ***** "My Love" By Aaron Martin
Your love better appreciate this!! Kerry

  19. ***** "Silent Invader" By Emily Janiak
I read everything on this site, and I have read this poem several times. It always takes my breath away, and is probably too realistic for the average reader. A must read for the serious poet. Derek Bracer

  20. ***** Calling Dr. Stein By Bruce Longman
EXCELLENT!! Definately worth 5 points. The story does what it is supposed to do.. make you wonder where it is leading and then POW!!! The ending is CLASSIC!! Although, living in Texas in the middle of the bible belt I am not too sure how well it would go down here!! But I loved it. Well Done you get my five points!! Bruce Longman

  21. ***** Infinite VisionBy Aaron Martin
This poem has a sing-song effect yet a deep undercurrent of hate- well worth another look Derek Bracer

  22. ***** The Fling By Bruce Longman
So much hurt can happen from bad decisions. A good story that should make everyone- men and women- think twice. Jerry Lewellen

  23. **** The Vow By Eric Rodriguez
A great story- would make a great movie of the week Jerry Lewellen

  24. **** 2055-Chapter 2 By Katie Jordan
I read the first chapter and kind of liked it. I liked chapter 2 better and am waiting for chapter 3 which is basically how I enjoy novels because they slowly draw me in. Jerry Lewellen

  25. ***** Words On A Breeze By Kim Knight
I can feel the emotion, the emptiness. All I can say is Wow! Jerry Lewellen
