No Show

Frustrated, angry because a guy I'd been communicating with for more than a week and had exchange quited a number of detailed e-mails decides at the last minute that it's too far for him to travel and the weather's going to be too hot. In his words it's "not logical" to travel for a couple hours to exchange swats for an hour or two and than travel back. I thought I had some good communication going, and am disappointed and surprised that nothing nothing nothing.

Had lots of guys in the past exchange a couple lines with me and then disappear. Only really been stood up once.

But we all know there are guys out there even in this group who will play with you. Act interested, encourage you tell all your little secrets and than just disappear. Obviously, just put it behind you, move on.

But I want to get this guy. Bet there are some guys you'd like to get too. We need to start a black list.

Really doesn't happen too much, but today I was stood up. And of course, I'm pissed. Now guys will cancel and then commit to another date, but that's OK. Nobody wants to force somebody into something they don't want. But when you've both agreed, this is what we want, and I will meet you at ///// place at this ////// time. And then no show.

Then the real irritation, in my e-mail this response: "now i really deserve to be spanked!! I'm really sorry. I even set the alarm to be sure to get up in time. Unfortunately, I hadn't set the clock ahead for daylight saving time, so I woke up too late to get to the train. Can we reschedule my punishment? d////"

So what do you think? Of course, I can't resist the chance to get a whack at his butt, but don't want to be a fool again.
