JONATHAN: Uh, on E!, I think. Or CNN. I might have read it online. I'm not sure. Maybe the radio.
TRAVIS: So you're saying you don't need newspapers to be topical?
JONATHAN: Um, okay, now you're springing stuff on me that we haven't talked about. But I would say, ah, no. No! Who needs newspapers anymore? I've got Connie on CNN, Jules and Steve on E!, Mary's still got "legs" at ET, Donahue's back, Oprah often talks about current events...
TRAVIS: Newspapers smell like old people's houses and they're so untidy.
JONATHAN: Ha ha! Yeah! Newspapers are the WORST!
TRAVIS: So DON'T READ NEWSPAPERS!

TRAVIS: What time do they go on?
JONATHAN: After 9, probably. Maybe real late! It's open mike night, and you know how those are!
TRAVIS: Well, Fans, we sure had a great time at Vaudeville In The Village!
JONATHAN: And so did Travis' Mom, Craig Davidson, Sam Tindall, Koko Bear, and Dr. Nightmare's Brother, and Sherlock Holmes!
TRAVIS: They brought down the house with their special appearances!
JONATHAN: Funny story: When Travis and I first got to the Belcourt, we went into the wrong auditorium.
TRAVIS: If you've never been to the Belcourt Theater, they have two auditoriums. One is for playing quiet independent films, and the other is for booty-shaking rock'n'roll shows!
JONATHAN: One time I went to see Gosford Park and heard the Indigo Girls from next door!
TRAVIS: That's funny, because I went to see the Indigo Girls and heard Gosford Park from next door!
JONATHAN: But it's okay, because it only made Gosford Park better.
TRAVIS: Same thing for the Indigo Girls!
JONATHAN: That's what's so great about the Belcourt! Belcourt Yes!
TRAVIS: Anyway, Sunday night Jonathan and I went into the wrong theater by mistake! They were showing My Big Fat Greek Wedding in there...
JONATHAN: It wasn't My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Travis, it was Robert Altman's Nashville!
TRAVIS: Oh! I wondered where all the Greeks were!
JONATHAN: Well, you know how those Robert Altman movies are, everybody talking at the same time...
TRAVIS: Ooo, I hate that!
JONATHAN: So Travis and I just heard crowd noise, and thought we were early for the Vaudeville show..
TRAVIS: We spent a good forty-five minutes meeting and greeting the good folks in Auditorium One, sharing popcorn and having a great time!
JONATHAN: Later we realized our mistake and apologized, but the people watching Nashville seemed happy for the distraction.

TRAVIS: We moved our review of Pauly Shore's new film, You'll Never Wiez In This Town Again, to our OscarWatch 2003 Page!
JONATHAN: We're sure it'll really "rack" up the "noms" come "OSCARtime".
TRAVIS: Here's a footnote regarding a foul-up, bleep, and blunder we noticed in Mr. Shore's film: There's a scene with Bill Maher talking to Ben Stiller on the phone. Now, we should point out that this movie takes place in the days when Bill Maher still could get work on network television.
JONATHAN: But even then I don't think Ben Stiller would take a call from him.
TRAVIS: Exactly. Just a little movie "Flub" we noticed. So, Jonathan, where do you think Mr. Politically Incorrect will end up next?
JONATHAN: Well, there's always a slot for him at Nashville Community Access Channel 19!

JONATHAN: Oh, not much.
TRAVIS: Well, guess what! We're in the Nashville Scene's Best of Nashville Issue!
JONATHAN: Whoa!
TRAVIS: I know! It's the April 11th issue, on stands now! We're named "Best Public Access Show!"
JONATHAN: How cool is that!
TRAVIS: Post-apocalyptic writer Jim Ridley says that "Middle Tennessee needs [us] like Austin needs Richard Linklater!"
JONATHAN: Whoa!

J: For some reason I always get thirsty when I "surf"; the "Nets."
