Winner of the 2008 Chester Macnaghten Prize for Creative Writing
I've removed the fan fiction and a number of older, original pieces from the website because, well, they were getting rather old and not particularly reflective of my current level of skill. Instead, here are two more recent pieces, from just a few years ago, which were published online but have since vanished from the website, as per the transitory nature of the Internet. Since they were originally free to read, I am providing them as such here.
Pyrogeist - A short story about a firefighter and his Adversary; originally appeared at Ragged Edge Publishing's website in February 2005.
How Quagga Lost his Stripes - A pseudo-etiological fairy tale about the now-extinct African quagga, orginally appeared at Wild Child Publishing's website as a winning entry in their Fairy Tale Contest.
