Hi everyone! I?ll be staying in Shoreland this year- Fallers House, to be exact (room 212). I love reading, especially German, Russian, and Medieval lit, can LIVE at Borders, and have to physically restrain myself from spending all my $ on books... Thank god for the Reg! (fellow bibliophiles unite!! ) I?m one of those idealists who believe that vocation of humanity is Art and that a greater exposure to it would increase harmony in the world; I enter U of C with a simple desire to learn for the sake of learning. In my spare time I walk in the park, dreaming and reciting Romantic poetry. Classical music is my inspiration and escape. Can't wait to meet ya all in...whoa, less than three weeks! Well, enjoy the remaining bit of your summer. Feel free to drop me a line or IM.

I like listening to all sorts of music. I enjoy everything from classical to hard rock and metal. I especially love listening to TOOL (seeing them live on Aug 16). I don't watch much TV, but I always catch Seinfeld (seeing him live on July 19). I love being lighthearted and immature; however, I am quite serious and responsible when I need to be. I am very active and love fishing and mountain biking in the great outdoors. This summer I am busy working at an Audubon wildlife sanctuary, playing soccer, spending time with friends, and going to Boston Red Sox games. I will be playing soccer for UC. Looking forward to meeting you all. Until then, 'think for yourself and question authority'.

"Greetings to all. I look forward to a productive/fun/lazy 4 years at Chicago with you guys. Yes, I admit it. I'm from Alabama (gasp). I want you guys to take all these stereotypes you have about Alabamians and realize that they are true, except, of course, that they don't apply to me. I really have no interests. I would call them passions. They include film, history, theatre, science fiction, Irish Republicanism, pancakes, explosives, explosive pancakes cartoons, Audrey Hepburn, homeless potatoes, Bridgette Bardo, Audrey Tautou, sandwiches and the history of explosive homeless pancakes. Like Matt Saba, I am a Roman Catholic. And yes, we eat and drink Jesus. Remember that herever you go, there you are.
