Early, Jana
Terran, Captain's Command Specialist on the Knight (NPC). See her Personnel File for more information.
Earth (Terra)
The home planet of many members of the crew. The United Federation of Planets is based here where it is close to many of the other UFP worlds. Earth is the third planet in the Sol system. Water covers 2/3 of the surface of the planet. It's total population is unknown.
Earth Station McKinley
One of the few stations and service platforms that orbit the planet Earth. She is the main starting point of any exploration mission from Earth. The Knight has stopped here several times in it's illustrious carreer.
Empathic Residue
An anomaly associated with strong amounts of emotional turbulence. Empathic individuals can pick up the emotions even after years have past since the traumatic incident took place. Often the cause of "haunted houses" and other occult phenomenon.
Eyes of the Child (of Light)
These are the eyes of former Knight helmsman David Poirot. Through various events involving time travel, he lost these eyes to torture, and they were implanted in the recently-blinded 14-year-old Howell Bridger, a prisoner on Aebrynnis in an earlier era. Eventually, Howell Bridger had the Eyes removed and replanted in David. When David died in Invasion: Earth, Bridger was given the Eyes, an heirloom of Aebrynnis, and wore them in a torque at times on his neck. In 2376, he had the Eyes implanted in his adopted daughter, Jesi. The Eyes are amalgamated with an Aebrynnian life-form that has psionic abilities of undetermined nature.
Fieldstalker, Ras ("Race")
This security officer of the Knight, a transfer from the USS Independence, eventually traded places with Inquisitor and CPO Fieldstalker of the ISS Knight. It turns out both Fieldstalkers were always highly respectable persons, and remarkably alike. The newly arrived 'Imperial' Fieldstalker has made a place in the Knight crew, and has become the right hand of the leading NCO on the ship, MCPO Resstok G'Murnik. Fieldstalker is a Caitian, a tall slender cat-like being.
First Federation
One of the oldest species in the galaxy, they have been in existence for over 30,000 years. They recently fought the Knight over piracy issues, and then joined forces with the Knight against the Q-Ship, which was run by the Psions. ("The Merchant Menace")
Fisher King Class Ship
The Fisher King Class is named after their baseline hull, the King Class merchant freighter. As many as eight Fisher Kings have been constructed, at the shipyards at Eminiar VII and elsewhere. They are Q-ships of the Combine Fleet, hidden battleships of immense destructive power, posing as heavy freighters. At least four of the Fisher Kings had Neutron Cannons constructed into them. The Fisher Kings are the most destructive ships ever designed from a UFP hull. The flag of, and namesake of, that class, the SS Fisher King, was destroyed in combat with the USS Knight, several First Federation ships, and several Romulan ships, in the Venn Sector in 2375, in the Battle of the Fisher King.
Fisher King, SS
A Q-ship that was masquerading as a merchant ship. It attacked the Knight and First Federation flotilla in an attempt to destroy them. However, heavy resistance from the allies, who were joined in the battle by the Romulan Empire, was enough to destroy the Q-ship. The Q-ship had in its possession, and did use, a Neutron Cannon, which severly crippled the UFP and FF ships.
Frost, Robert
19th- and 2oth-century Terran poet who earned four Pulitzer Prizes and was considered to be one of the more beloved poets of that planet's history. The motto of the Knight, "Promises to Keep," is taken from one of his best-loved poems.
Gilmore, Jane
A Terran, Conn Officer on the Knight (NPC).
Great Crystal
An artifact of a magical society long gone, found by Clarisse and used to spy upon other persons and places, and to communicate with her many agents across Aebrynnis. The Great Crystal may be linked to the mind of any person with a strong will, but psi users are particularly adept at using it. Overuse of it will result in a form of psionic threshold sickness. It is located at the last of the places of power the crew of the Knight sought during the Aebrynnis mission, and was guarded by the Ai, an ancient caste of warrior-assassins.
Hasperat

Widely known Bajoran dish. Consists of a filled pastry parcel cooked in a spiced brine.

Helmsley, Andrea
A Terran, former JAG Officer on the Knight. She was seriously wounded in the battle of Too Many Sovereigns, and was transferred from the Knight.
Holo-programs
As with any long term starship, the Knight has an impressive Holosuite system set up for users to relax, train and generally muck about. As with any starship, an extensive selection of holoprograms have been created, collected and categorised for the use of crew members, civilians and guests alike. Some of the more interesting programs are: Bridger, Howell Bridger, The Machine in the Machine, and Ring of the Infinite.
