Reinhardt, Wilhelm

This is the second adopted son of Howell Bridger (adopted 2340), who became a Starfleet officer, and has a rather chequered career, both in Starfleet and in the mercenaries. He is considered to be one of the top tactical officers in the galaxy, and has specialized for much of his career in providing his own odd brand of 'relief services.' From 2369 through 2376, Bridger and Reinhardt were estranged for political and personal reasons. Reinhardt has been both StraTac for Starbase Olympus and Acting CO of the USS Viceroy, before becoming StraTac for the Core Sector of the Breen Neutral Zone. Ring of the Infinite, The

Holodeck simulation programmed at the request of former Knight Chief Counselor Blazer McCree. This sim involves the creation of a sports training facility centered around a boxing ring at which the simulated opponents can be anyone, trained any way, by anybody. McCree, and later Counselor Cyn Stirling, met with the disturbed Howell Bridger to help him work out his stresses, and talk out his problems. Several others have found the simulation and now use it. Bridger's favored opponent is Richard Nixon, a political figure of the 20th century. Others seem to like Daffy Duck and Admiral M'Benga.

Shasta Mountain Retreat and Resort

This was the Federation-owned rest and recreation facility in which almost 100 members of the crew of the USS Knight, including almost all her command team, were interned for questioning and examinations after Operation: Invasion.

Shaw, Dr. Carolyn

Shrek, Maximillian

A Proximian, currently diplomatic liaison to Starfleet, posted on the Knight. More information may be found in his Personnel File.

Starfleet Departments

Starfleet is made up of a series of seperate departments that perform specific duties throughout Federation space. The Starfleet Navy is the exploration branch of Starfleet, with such members as the late Admiral James T. Kirk, Captain Jean-Luc Picard, and ships like the USS Enterprise. The Starfleet Marine Corps is the fighting force of Starfleet. They fight battles and act as peace-keepers when needed. Their ranks are numerous and highly trained. Starfleet Intelligence is the highly trained espionage/Intelligence sector of Starfleet. SI has many departments, including the Psychological Warfare division run by Admiral M'Benga. A new division under the Intelligence wing of Starfleet is emerging. This is the Time Variance Authority, a group of people who will investigate people who travel through time, research the concept of time travel and generally police and administer to possible interferences with the main timestream of the United Federation of Planets.

Starfleet Marine Corps

A large group of men and women who train hard to defend the Federation in ground battles. They act as peace-keepers, and as an offensive weapon against the enemies of the Federation.

Stirling, Cynthia "Cyn"

Former Chief Counselor and Exective Officer of the Knight, she left the crew of the Knight in 2376 to serve as UFP Diplomatic Liaison to the planet of Aebrynnis. Previously, while on the Knight, she was linked romantically to Captain Howell Bridger. She was unknowingly exposed to the illicit drug kironide, which resulted in highly increased telepathic powers. Stirling has since returned from Aebrynnis, and is currently serving as Chief of Staff to Commodore Bridger.

Strategic Operations

A small unit, normally made up of special action and planning officers, one or more Marine special action teams, and when a fleet management officer (Commodore, Admiral) is aboard as a fleet leader, his staff as well. On the Knight, the Intelligence Section is also a part of this group. Lt. Jack Lawson is currently Director of Strategic Operations on the Knight.

Time Variance Authority

Group which was formed sometime in the late 24th century to police and administer to possible interferences with the main timestream of the United Federation of Planets.

Tjorkil, Sigmund

An Aebrynnian, current Chief Tactical Officer on the Knight. More information may be found in his Personnel File.

T'K'Shatri

A Vulcan/Deltan hybrid and a civilian, former teacher on the Knight.

Tomalak

Captain of the lead Romulan Warbird that assisted in the defeat of the SS Fisher King.

Trans-Spatial Psychology

Theoretical model developed by Dr. Rejah Bherran, LCmdr., of Starfleet. Suggests that certain mental effects can be combined with mathematical constructs and rare energy fields to create a variety of transport effects currently beyond the abilities of any known species, excepting the Organians and the Q.

Trans-Spatial Psycholocation

A translocation effect which may cross both time and space, activated by a purely psionic discipline. Just a theoretical notion, at present.

Ttrail, Seath

Former Chief of Security, he was replaced by an android and was missing for a time. He now serves as Flag Ensign on Commodore Bridger's staff. See his Personnel File for more information.
