List of Sport Psychology Activities:

 

  1. Hot Seat.  Positive and negative feedback in a team situation; self-awareness.
  2. One-Way, Two-Way Communication.  Difference, uses, advantages, and disadvantages of one-way (closed) and two-way (open) communication.
  3. Inner-Outer Circle.  Learning how to give one-on-one feedback and motivational talks to team mates as well as learning how to listen to them.
  4. Imagery.  Uses and practical issues of imagery.
  5. Diaphragmatic Breathing.  Deep, relaxed breathing.
  6. Progressive Relaxation.  Tensing and relaxing muscles.
  7. Yoga.  Breathing through difficult body positions to learn to relax in stressful situations.
  8. Meditation.  Relaxation of the mind.
  9. Autogenic Training.  Heaviness and warmth sensations to relax the body and mind.
  10. Lifeline.  Goal-setting strategy by creating short-term and long-term life plans.
  11. Let’s String Along.  Dynamics of group interaction of teams.  Feedback on strengths and areas of improvement in interaction of members in a team.
