Psychology Activities:
- Hot Seat. Positive and negative feedback in a team
situation; self-awareness.
- One-Way, Two-Way Communication. Difference, uses, advantages, and
disadvantages of one-way (closed) and two-way (open) communication.
- Inner-Outer Circle. Learning how to give one-on-one feedback
and motivational talks to team mates as well as learning how to listen to
them.
- Imagery. Uses and practical issues of imagery.
- Diaphragmatic Breathing. Deep, relaxed breathing.
- Progressive Relaxation. Tensing and relaxing muscles.
- Yoga. Breathing through difficult body
positions to learn to relax in stressful situations.
- Meditation. Relaxation of the mind.
- Autogenic Training. Heaviness and warmth sensations to relax
the body and mind.
- Lifeline. Goal-setting strategy by creating
short-term and long-term life plans.
- Let’s String Along. Dynamics of group interaction of teams. Feedback on strengths and areas of
improvement in interaction of members in a team.
