Emphasis on practical application of these concepts related to sport and exercise. Course objectives: At the end of the semester, the students will be able to: 1. Demonstrate an understanding of how psychological and social factors influence involvement and performance in sport and exercise; 2. Demonstrate an understanding of how participation in sport and exercise influences the psychological make-up of those individuals involved; 3. Apply skills and knowledge about sport and exercise psychology in scenarios related to teaching, training, coaching, exercise leadership, and injury rehabilitation; 4. Demonstrate an ability to search for, analytically read, and understand current research in the field of sport and exercise psychology. 5. Develop a practical application of sport and exercise psychology concepts through observations and analysis of actual sport and exercise behaviors and environments. Course
