"Adrovan," Visinite said.
"Yes?"
"Will this work?"
"Of course it will work," Adrovan said. "You just leave the sailor scouts to me.."
"Hmm..I don't know," Visinite said. "I want something more stable."
"Yes it is a risk, but if it pays off..we'll win for sure," Adrovan said.
"I'm not so sure of that," Visinite said. "I have not felt victory for some time now."
"Think about it though, you've got the advantage, we have Minagrat, Fulcrua, Xicav, and Lunfa here. And using their abilities we'll win for sure."
"So you say," Visinite said. "I'll celebrate after they're destroyed."
"As is your right," Adrovan said. "Do you wish for me to make preparations?"
"Yes, do so," Visinite said.
"You think the crystal could be a little more specific," Sailor Moon said. "This is hardly helping."
"At least we know we're going in the right direction." Sailor Venus said.
"We've been going in the right direction for three days!" Sailor Moon said.
"Patience," Sailor Pluto said. "We'll find it."
"So why is it that no one exactly new where the ancient capital was down here?" Sailor Moon asked. "I mean..someone must have known. You were the Earth Prince.." she said turning to Tuxedo Mask.
"That's true," Tuxedo Mask said. "However there..were strange things that went on around here."
"Like what?" Sailor Moon asked.
"It's hard to explain. The capitals in this region..no one visited them really.." Tuxedo Mask said.
"Strange," Sailor Venus said. "Why wouldn't anyone."
"I really didn't know, it was just sort of how things were," Tuxedo Mask said.
"Hmm..if you say so," Sailor Moon said. "Still...this isn't any fun, and they'll probably have mined the whole area when we show up."
"Then we'll just work around it," Sailor Mercury said.
"Now is not the time to lose hope Sailor Moon," Sailor Pluto said. "We're doing a good job."
"Yeah I guess," Sailor Moon said. "Still..I'm getting sick of this country."
"That I'll agree with you about," Mars said. "Does it have to be gray all the time?"
"That's how things are," Sailor Mercury said. "It's a different climate zone."
"How does anyone stand it?" Mars said.
"Guess you'd have to live around here," Venus said.
"If I lived around here I'd move away," Sailor Moon said.
"Now now, I'm sure it can be pleasant too," Tuxedo Mask said.
"I don't know, the people I've seen around here have given us dirty looks," Sailor Moon said.
"We're obviously not from around here though," Sailor Venus said.
"Still they should be welcoming guests," Sailor Moon said.
"Maybe they don't trust us," Sailor Mercury said.
"Not trust us?" Sailor Moon asked. "Such pretty faces like ours?"
"Can't disagree with you there," Sailor Mars said.
"Are we getting any closer?" Sailor Venus asked.
"I don't think so," Sailor Moon moaned. "What if we've just been going in a circle?"
"I don't think that's possible given the landscape," Mercury said.
"Maybe it doesn't need to be a circle, maybe this territory never ends," Sailor Moon said.
"Now that's just not true," Tuxedo Mask said.
"Prove it!" Sailor Moon snapped.
"Hmm...this is odd.." Sailor Mercury said.
"What is?" Sailor Pluto asked.
"It was just a glimmer on the scanner. It seemed to pick up something for a second then it disappeared."
"Maybe there is something out there," Sailor Mars said.
"Oh why don't they just go away," Sailor Moon said.
"What direction was it in?" Sailor Pluto said.
"That way," Sailor Mercury said. "But there's nothing now. It probably was just a little glitch.."
"Not necessarily," Tuxedo Mask said. "We should be prepared for anything."
"Help!" came a shout. The scouts all whirled. A young girl came bounding down a hill.
"What's wrong?" Sailor Venus asked.
"My house is on fire..." the girl shouted. "Help me!"
"Is there anyone in there?" Tuxedo Mask asked.
"Yes..my family..I..was outside..I.."
"All right we'll help you out," Sailor Moon said. "Let's go scouts."
They raced up the hill. A large wooden house was slowly burning.
"Mercury Bubbles Blast!"
The attack flew out and covered the house. The fire kept going.
"What? That should have stopped it," Sailor Mercury said. "Mercury Ice Storm Blast!" she shouted dousing the flames.
"That did it," she said.
"We'd better check inside!" Sailor Mars said.
Sailor Pluto grabbed Sailor Venus arm.
"You...wait here," she said.
"What?" Venus said.
"Keep an eye on things," Sailor Pluto said.
"But.."
"They can handle it," Sailor Pluto said and leapt across the grass.
"Where are you going?"
"Not far!"
Mars, Mercury, Tuxedo Mask, and Sailor Moon hurried to the house.
"Is anyone in here!" Sailor Moon shouted.
There was no response.
"Sailor Moon..let me check," Sailor Mars said and pushed ahead of her.
The house exploded.
Mars out let out a shout as she was blasted upward. Sailor Moon was blasted back. Tuxedo Mask grabbed her.
A small volcano seemed to erupt from below them, spitting lava energy.
"MERCURY ICE STORM BLAST!"
She shouted trying to freeze the lava. Mars hit the ground.
"HAH! It's time to die!" Minagrat shouted leaping forward.
Fulcrua followed. Xicav as well.
"VENUS LOVE AND BEAUTY SHOCK!"
The attack flew out and smashed into Minagrat.
"YAHHH!" Lunfa shouted charging down a hill, bombs in hands.
"Sneaky trick, but what I would expect!" Sailor Pluto shouted. "Dead Scream!"
The attack shot down the hill. Lunfa whirled and was blasted back. Meanwhile more explosions rocked the area around the house. Sailor Mars slowly stood up. Xicav whirled towards her and unleashed a barrage. She moved to dodge it.
"Not today!" Visinite said and unleashing a tremendous amount of energy. Mars shrieked and fell to the ground.
"VENUS Love Chain Encircle!"
Visinite grinned and dodged away spitting energy. The ground exploded. Venus flipped back.
Fulcrua leapt around Tuxedo Mask as he tried to protect a weakened Sailor Moon. He threw a rose barrage. She dodged and leapt at him. He swung his staff and met her knocking her to the ground.
"She'll have to manage."
Minagrat raced forward weakened, but still handling himself. He threw out an attack. Venus dodged it.
"Now more surprises," Adrovan said grinning as he stood in an underground cave...
"MERCURY..."
The ground erupted blasting her upward.
"Heh heh..Lunfa isn't the only one who can use bombs," Adrovan said grinning.
"Mercury!" Sailor Moon said worriedly. "Something's coming from down..there.."
She winced and leapt down the hole.
Adrovan stepped back.
"You're in for it now!" Sailor Moon shouted.
"Try me!" Adrovan said and threw a bomb. Sailor Moon dodged it.
"MOON SWORD!" She shouted and raced forward with Venus' agility. Adrovan charged at her throwing another bomb. She dodged it and swung her sword. Adrovan shouted as he was cut.
"Moon Tiara Magic!" she shouted at point blank range. Adrovan was thrown backward.
"No you pay for this!" Sailor Moon shouted.
"Not quite!" Adrovan said throwing one last bomb. Sailor Moon ducked it.
It exploded into the wall. Lava exploded out of it.
"Oh no!" Sailor Moon shouted.
"Mercury Ice Storm Blast!" Mercury shouted leaping down another hole.
Sailor Moon sighed.
"Are you..all right..Sailor Moon,." She said weakly.
"I am..Mercury..are you?"
"I...am.."
"ADROVAN!" Moon said whirling. Adrovan took off down a tunnel.
"Moon Tiara Magic!" she shouted again and shot it down the tunnel. It sliced through him. He vaporized.
"You...monster.." She said.
"Good one Sailor Moon.." Mercury said. "Oh..no!"
She leapt on top of Sailor Moon. A shower of rocks fell from the top of the
cave.
Visinite grinned.
"Take that Sailor jerks," she said.
A rose slammed into her back. She whirled. Tuxedo Mask faced her.
"Very well..I'll take you on."
"She's mine!" Sailor Mars shouted racing forward.
"I am am I!" Visinite shouted throwing an energy attack.
"Mars Warrior's Inferno!"
The two attacks exploded into each other. The two were flung back.
"Yaah!" Minagrat shouted leaping at Tuxedo Mask.
The latter whirled and threw another rose barrage. Minagrat was hit but still fell forward. Tuxedo Mask hit him in the chest. And knocked him back.
"MARS...FIRE SOUL!"
"DIE GIRL!" Visinite shouted. The two attacks flew out and hit their targets.
The two fell to the ground.
"No.." Visinite said slowly trying to stand up...
"I'll.. Get you for this.." Mars said. "Mars...Fire Soul!"
The attack flew into Visinite. Visinite threw up an energy shield. Mars kept firing, letting her attack push on Visinite's energy.
"No..I won't die!" Visinite shouted.
Xicav leapt forward and unleashed his attacks. Mars crumpled to the ground.
"Yes...good.." Visinite said.
"VENUS....LOVE AND BEAUTY SHOCK!"
The two whirled. The attack smashed into Xicav throwing him to the ground.
"You're next!" Visinite said.
Venus starred at her.
"I'll get her!" Fulcrua said leaping at Venus. Venus whirled.
"VENUS LOVE CHAIN ENCIRCLE!"
It swept out. Fulcrua leapt over it. Venus leapt forward and punched Fulcrua in the face.
Visinite built her energy.
Tuxedo Mask hit Minagrat with his staff and knocked him to the ground. He then raced towards Visinite.
Xicav turned and slowly as he could threw out his energy attack. Tuxedo Mask dived over it and swung his staff downward onto Xicav. Xicav raised his arms to fire.
Tuxedo Mask kicked him aside and rolled.
"MARS....WARRIOR's INFERNO!"
She raced forward and hit Visinite and point blank range. Visinite whirled her energy slammed into Mars head. The two collapsed. Visinite disintegrated.
"Mars!" Venus shouted.
Sailor Pluto leapt to the ground.
"Fulcrua..Xicav..one chance..leave now...or die," Sailor Pluto said.
"Lets get out of here," Lunfa said hurrying up to them.
"Let me at them," Venus said.
"No..let them go.." Pluto said.
The three hurried beyond the hillside.
"Mars.." Venus said hurrying to her side.
"We need to find Sailor Moon and Mercury.." Tuxedo Mask said.
"I'll watch things up here..you go," Sailor Pluto said.
Tuxedo Mask leapt down into the tunnel.
He let out a gasp and then moved to the rock pile. He began to pull rocks out.
"Mercury!" he said.
"Be careful.." Mercury said weakly. "Do not move me until you've gotten the rocks moved ..or else they'll roll onto Sailor Moon."
"Don't worry.." Tuxedo Mask said. "I'll get you out.."
"Darrien is that you!" Sailor Moon shouted.
"Yes..yes..it is..you two are going to be fine," Tuxedo Mask said. He pulled the rocks off carefully.
"Mercury..I'll help you," Tuxedo Mask said.
Tuxedo Mask slowly pulled her off.
Mercury slowly stood and then collapsed to the ground.
"MERCURY!" Sailor Moon said bolting up.
She hurried to her friend's side.
"Mercury..you..saved..me...wake up..will you..just tired aren't you."
"Fraid not..." Mercury said. "I..will..see you again..soon...I hope..."
Her eyes closed.
"Mercury!" Sailor Moon shouted her eyes tearing up.
"Sailor Moon we can save her. You know that."
"But she's already gone to the afterlife."
"Yes, but she wasn't killed that time. You remember the rules we were told...."
"You're..right..she can come back.." Sailor Moon said.
"Sailor Moon, we need to call Taiki," Tuxedo Mask said. "He can save her."
"Yes...yes..you're..right.." Sailor Moon said.
"MARS! Come on girl!" Sailor Venus shouted.
"She's gone..but if we move quickly," Sailor Pluto said. "We need to get help."
"Right..right.." Venus said crying. "Rick..right.."
"Rick can't go..he died..already," Sailor Pluto said. "A scout can never return to afterlife and hope to return to real life if they have died."
Pluto knew there were certain circumstances, but she didn't want to get into them.
"Oh..but..who can go," Venus said.
"Sailor Moon must go again."
"And give up more power?" Venus asked.
"We have no choice!"
"You're right. Sailor Moon! We need you!" Venus cried.
Back in Tokyo an ambulance streaked through the streets.
"Hang on there Lita," Guardian Pluto said holding her hand.
"I..."
"We're almost there. It's going to be fine," Pluto said.
"Yeah..fine.." Lita said and then fell unconscious.
"No!" Pluto shouted.
"Save her will you!"
One of the medics began CPR.
Pluto started pounding on the wall side of the van.
"Don't you dare..." he said.
"She..what..." Taiki said into the communicator. "I..I...right..right..I have to save..her.."
"Go to her Taiki.." Yaten said.
"Yeah..you can do it.." Seiya said.
"I know," Taiki said.
"The path is clear," Hotaru said standing in the doorway. "You have been granted access."
"Jupiter Power!" he shouted and transformed before entering the next realm.
"Sailor Moon are you ready?"
"I don't care about the power, I have to save Mars."
"Right...good luck," Sailor Pluto said.
Sailor Moon once again voyaged into the other world shedding some of her
power as she did so.
"I'm sorry.." Doctor Burrows said walking out of the room.
Steve swore.
"What are you waiting for?" Haruka asked. "Go after her."
"But...I don't know if I.."
Haruka slapped him.
"You idiot! You love her with all your heart! NOW SAVE HER!"
"You're...right.." Pluto said. He wiped away a tear and then voyaged into the realm himself.
"Fool," Haruka said.
"He went.." Guardian Uranus said walking up.
"Yes.." Haruka said.
"Rick.." Guardian Neptune said ashen faced.
"What is it?" Guardian Uranus asked turning.
"It's..Raye.."
His eyes widened.
"This is wrong.." Hotaru said.
"What is?" Seiya asked.
"I can feel it..the...natural course of things has been disrupted."
"What do you mean?" Yaten asked.
"I must go.."
"Where..what do you mean?" Seiya asked.
"I am the Sailor of Death...and death is..no time to explain.." Hotaru said. "Powers of the eternal....grant me this wish!" she shouted.
"Better..let her do what she's doing," Yaten said.
"The powers that have been given to me shall be used once more. I must voyage to the other realm, on a mission of urgency!"
She transformed.
"Please...allow me entry.. I am your Guardian..I should stand in your defense."
She vanished.
"Now what's happening?" Seiya said.
"I have no clue," Yaten said.
"More losses," Ircanite said.
"Yes..but we killed three sailors scouts, and some of the most powerful at that," Sorophyte said.
"And I lost yet more of my forces," Ircanite said. "The rest can't be used for days."
"I will recover faster then that..besides..this is merely the beginning."
"Hmm..maybe."
"And..those dead scouts may never see life again or, the ones that went to save them.."
"Why?"
"Because..I know death," Sorophyte said. "It is a friend of mine, and I'm certain the scouts will have an eventually rough time in their pursuits."
"Explain how.." Ircanite said.
"Oh..no..that would ruin the surprise."
"Sorophyte!"
"I am tired sir, please let me explain it to you once I have recovered.
"Hmm..very well.." Ircanite said. "We will prepare for the next operation."
"But..this is Tokyo.." Sailor Moon said. "Raye didn't die here."
"Oh it's you again," The guide said. "Of course your friend didn't die here, but her soul will rest here."
"Not if I can help it!" Sailor Moon shouted and raced down a street.
"Uh...I might warn you things have been a little strange around here lately."
"Oh really?"
"Well perhaps the fact that you are still in your power Sailor Scout form, might be a hint."
"Oh..that's interesting," Sailor Moon said. "Where's my posse!"
"Right here!" A crowd said hurrying up behind her.
"Ahh good..let's go troops! We have to find Raye!"
"Yeah!" They shouted and tore down the street.
"She really should not have this must control this is our world.." the guide muttered.
"I'm coming Raye! You'll be home by dinner time!"
"Not likely!" came a voice.
Sailor Moon stopped cold.
"Visinite!"
"Oh yes..." Visinite said and a blast of energy flew from her. The mob all scattered.
"How did you?" Sailor Moon said.
"Don't know, but I do care!" Visinite said and lunged at her. Sailor Moon leapt over her.
"You're not supposed to be here like this!"
"Too bad for you! But the forces of evil have made a come back!"
Sailor Moon leapt into action.
"This is odd," Guardian Jupiter said. "I'm not supposed to be in this form.
"No you're not, but things have been a little messed up," A guide said.
"Jupiter.."
Guardian Jupiter turned.
"Pluto!"
"Yeah..yeah.it's me...I'm sorry..about.."
"Enough about that..we've got a job to do," Jupiter said.
"You're right," Pluto said.
"Going somewhere boys!"
The two slid to a stop. Adrovan, Caria, Chigta and Sulcar emerged.
"What?" Pluto said.
A blast hit Jupiter and knocked him down. Mivxsati leapt out of the dark and pounced on Pluto. The others raced forward.
"Oh dear this isn't supposed to happen," one guide said.
"It is the way things are.." the other guide said.
"Take that Visinite!" Sailor Moon shouted unleashing a massive attack. Visinite smashed into a wall.
"Get her guys!"
"Yeah!" her mob of fans shouted and raced forward pounding on Visinite left and right.
Sailor Moon raced forward.
"It's not far now."
"Apparently not."
"So what is happening?"
"I don't know..I'm only a guide."
"So shouldn't you know why this is happening?"
"Not necessarily, I mean there are other things in this world that are beyond me."
"You're very useless you know."
"Mars didn't think so the first time."
"Hmm..well you've blown it this time," Sailor Moon said and rounded a turn. She skidded to a stop. On the road to the Cherry Hill temple stood about a hundred daimons. King Metalis was at the forefront.
"Well..hello Sailor Moon..somehow fate has brought me and all my friends here...and we've got a little thing called revenge to pound into you," King Metalis said.
Sailor Moon's eyes widened in fear.
