This is Jamie thoroughly enjoying herself .

This was a little "German" restaurant. It was a nice place. All the restaurants had a theme. I guess we were in the tourist area. But the food and drinks were real cheep in Quito. It was easy to be gluttonous and generous. I love this town. We had dinner with another couple at the finest steak house in town. The steaks were 2" thick and we had three bottles of wine. The whole table was FIFTY BUCKS! Ohhh... allow me!

This is the airport in Guayaquil, Ecuador. It was an hour layover before continuing to Miami. Why are we standing in a line with our luggage in front of us? Go to the next frame down.


So the dogs can sniff our bags for drugs.

That's not so surprising. It was the militaristic fashion in which it was performed that made it a little unnerving. The drill was: Step up to the line! Drop your bags! Take two steps back!!! So if that dog barks they only need to look up to find the guilty party. Plus they are wearing all black! Which never says to me "Hey...we care about your safety!"
