This is some relatively
new earth with its first residents. I do not remember the name of these
cactus but it was interesting that on all this huge lava flow they were the
only specie of plant doting the landscape.

This was an extremely
fortunate scene to happen upon. This hawk was just sitting on a log having
a little iguana snack. Again, its' only concern was estimating our level
of interest in its' lunch. Also, no zoom here. I am standing five feet from this bird which I would classify as ....a damn big
hawk.

Here you can kind
of see a tail hanging out of its' talons. Now look down. There are
two or three marine iguanas just below this carnage totally unconcerned
with what is going on right above their heads. "Hey.....where's Bob???"
