Resting After A Long Weekend in New Hampshire |
WAY TO GO CLASS OF 2000!!! |
I am a 36 year old mom of two terrific children. I have a daughter, Chelsea who is 10 and a son, Rowdy who is 6. We had started web pages for them, but we have been too busy to keep them up. ( Chelsea's Page, Rowdy's Page). They are great kids, but then again I am biased. We live in the Metro DC area, Maryland suburbs. I am a graduate of New Hampshire College with a degree in Business Studies with triple concentrations in Human Resource Management, Business Administration and Accounting. I currently work as a financial analyst in training and education arena - ha, who says people don't end up working in the fields that they went to school for. I am working toward taking the CPA examination and hope to go back to school to earn my master's degree. Time seems to be a precious commodity that I don't seem to have! |
I am also very into painting, drawing, sports (particularily Soccer), swimming, camping and just plain old fun --- oh, and anything that has to do with computers, especially computerized graphics! (I guess you could say I am hooked on graphics). I had to slow down a few years ago in sports, though. I broke my ankle, a trimaelar fracture and now sport 8 screws and 2 plates. A bit stiff in the ankle, but I try to keep as active as possible. I was born in Michigan, was raised in Virginia, and escaped to San Diego in my early twenties... never should have left! Beautiful town. Since then I have lived in Tennessee, Maine and now Maryland about 1 1/2hours away from where I started. I love living near the city -- I am one of the few nuts that loves traffic and congestion, go figure. But, I would never pass up the quiet of the country to relax. I love boating, fishing, hiking and midnight walks in the rain with the heavy smell of newly bloomed flowers. That's the nutshell version! |
