Down Grange Astroturf

The last game to be played under the White Hart name took place between WH over 30's and those under 30.

The game was typically curtailed by the FA Cup Final that had taken place the day before and many a player was late arriving and then were throughly hungover once they showed up.

The youngsters won the game by generally being that bit fitter and by taking there chances. No thanks to Ade who hit the crossbar, post and slung a penalty over the bar.

The Vets despite playing with 12 in the second half were not able to close down Grant in midfield who made the telling difference that and a couple of fine saves from Clint and Dean.

09.04.02 10th anniversary fixture for WH new and old boys confirmed for 11am 05/05 at Down Grange Astroturf.  Craig Flockton's Fledlings Under 30's v Dave Lucas Vets over 30's.  More details to follow.

07.04.02 Scissors and Andy confirm their intent to take over administration and management of team for next season

10.03.02 WH game with Rangers Old Boys is abandoned after 26mins. A punch was thrown into the mouth of Ross Barnard.  The referee the weak Martin Higgins saw fit to abandon the game rather than punish the offending team.  WH await a league review of incident.

03.03.02 WH have to cancel a match owing to lack of players.

24.02.02 Ritchie collects two cracked ribs.

27.01.02 Big Lee breaks leg and will be laid up for 14 weeks.  And has probably played his last game for the Hart but who knows for sure?

6.10.01 New WH landlord refuses to sell Clint a round of spirits thereby denting any hope of a permanent return of the WH team.

1.10.01 Hampshire cup on 7 Oct home versus Aldershot team ASTV. Food will be available in the Winton afterwards.  Comment from the Winton manager I havn't got enough beer for the weekend what with the England game!!

28.09.01 Cup Fixtures announced.  14/10 defence of the cup against Division 5 FC Western.  21/10 v Wagon & Horses formerly Pullman of division 2 in the North Hants Cup.

10.09.01 Training for the season will take place on Queen Mary's astroturf each Thursday at 8:30. £2 each.

10.09.01 TT has a calf strain which maybe difficult to shake off meanwhile Jason's somewhat mirculaous recovery techniques suggest he could be back very shortly.

03.09.01 Sad news from the treatment table as Jason went under the knife yesterday.  The surgeon's have suggested that he may not play again this season.  The club send Jason their best wishes.

03.09.01 Administration oversight as Big Lee's suspension was actually for the 2nd game of the season so it will be Sept 16th before he can make an impact.

03.09.01 Club announce £2 profit from last season.  No account has been taken into the cost of restoring the cup into a respectable state before it is returned to the league.

02.09.01 3 points as WH beat Odiham 2:1 Ross and Neil find the net whilst Toby gets the OG count undrway.

24.07.01 Full PreSeason starts Tuesdays and Sundays starting on 24/7 7:30pm at the War Memorial followed by 29/7 at 10:30

19.06.01 The Hart receive official confirmation that they will once again begin the season in Division 4.
