The deck was made up in three sections: for'd section, 26 mil strip plank spruce, glued and screwed together; mid section around mast and stays, 6 mil ply +16 mil strip plank treated pine + 4 mil ply; side decks, 6 mil ply +16 mil end-grain cedar + 4 mil ply. Cabin top was made of 26 mil strip plank cedar glued and screwed together. All covered with 2 layers of 400 gm glass. Deck feels nice and stiff...can jump on it, no problem... |
