Brian Straw Farewell Show.

It can be hard to smile when one of your favorite artists is leaving.
Brian Straw has been a gift to Cleveland, but we wish him the best on his journey to New York.  May he take them by storm and by the heart.  Best of luck to you.

Speak in Tounges...rest in peace.
Craziness & disappointment befell Cleveland this Wednesday when Fly Pan Am was held at the border.  According to the Grog Shop "Due to Fly Pan Am being an obvious security risk to the peace and serenity of the Homeland, they were denied at the border, thus being forced to cancel their Cleveland and Chicago shows..." Local noise makers Jerk opened with their creative brand of new rock; and Japanese rockers Mono (remember if you heard the Kinski interview - they toured together?) made beautiful walls of noise.

10/31.  Yey! Yey! Yey!  Finally, I saw Deerhoof.  They are incredibly talented.  I had no idea what went into making those great songs.  They were great & I loved it.

And, did you see "me"?  I was Milk Man (from their album cover) for Halloween.  I hope to have a picture up soon.

Mouse on Mars brought the noise & rocked the house. Righteous.

Ratatat was good.

And I'm sad I missed Junior Boys.
Me in my Halloween costume!  Thanks for the pix, Deerhoof!
