What is an RPG?
An online Role- Playing- Game. You make a character and play out their life online while battling and buying items and raising your stats.
Is there a fee to join the site?
No, there is no start up fee and no continuation fee. Just obey the rules and you will be fine.
What is a Mobile Suit?
A gigantic robotic fighting machine that is piloted by humans and is human in appearance
What is a Zoid?
A gigantic robotic fighting machine that is piloted by humans and is animal in appearance
What does R&D stand for?
Research and Developement. This is one of the site's message boards where hired scientists think up new weapons or equipement for the site. If you wish to join, go to the Jobs Page to find out how.
How do you do/use this RPG?
First, you go to the Rules Page and follow the instructions there to sign up. Then, once you have been added (usually within a few days time), you can use the money given to you at start up to buy a Mobile Suit or a Zoid. You can also use the money to buy weapons for your suit and to buy equipement for your suit. Or, you can rent a suit and equipe it with weapons and equipement for a time. Once you have accomplished this, you can battle other pilots and increase your standing and make money. That's it.
How do we talk to each other outside of the chat room?
There are numerous other pilots and you can talk and battle them all. To set up a battle or check out how others are doing on the battlefield, you can go to the Battle Board section of the Message Boards page. If you wish to talk with others through extended and delayed conversation or set up dates to talk or just see what's new, go to the Main Board section of the Message Boards page. And, if you are a R&D scientist, you can go to the R&D section of the Message Boards page. And each player's email and AIM name are listed by their stats on their team page, you can contact them that way as well.
What is the Chat Room? Is it safe?
The chat room is where all battles are now conducted. This allows everyone to battle and opens the site to new members. If anyone wants to go into the room, simply type in your character name for the "name" slot and ignore the "information" slot. The room was set up by Dave Soome and is a part of this web site alone, there is no danger in it. If you are a member of the Backdraft however, and you plan to enter the battle and fight the teams, your character name in the "name" slot should be written as "The Backdraft Group"- always. You can reach the room by clicking on the Chat/Battle Room link.
What is "The Backdraft"?
The Backdraft is an organisation that breaks into regular, sponsored battles and fights both teams using low and evil methods. They also sponsor their own battles with Dark Judges and fight in battle mode 0999- anything goes. The organisation's members are equipped with special zoids and gundams and have special weapons and deals and offers and seperate bank accounts. The Backdraft members can be anyone- your teammate, your Lord of the Land, or even, your judge. The Backdraft group prides itself on secrecy and therefore to be a member, one must be quiet about fellow members true identities at all times. To be a member of The Backdraft Group, all one must do is: 1) send an email to Dave Soome asking to be a member
2) soon after, you will recieve a confirmation email saying you have been added to the group
3) you will also be given a password to the Backdraft forum, where all members stats are listed
4) when you are added, you will be given a zoid/gundam specially choosen by Dave Soome and a seperate bank account where you can buy weapons and equipement at your discression, send the purchase emails directly to Dave Soome, to noone else And do not post on the boards. Backdraft fighters also get free repairs
There will also be a Backdraft Message Board, where all plans to disrupt tournements and battles will be posted. The password to the board will be the same as to the forum. The Backdraft group only accepts a limited number of members from both the Servants of the Despiser and from the Side of Justice, so apply quickly! If you post on any boards besides the Backdraft or reveal any of the Backdraft secrets like personnel files or passwords, you will be banned from the organisation and the passwords will be changed.
What is "The Guardian Force" and the "Shuffle Alliance"?
They are both elite fighting forces of good. They are a hand-picked group of fighters choosen by Dave Soome and Seto Kaiba. Only those worthy can be these fighters. This is not an organisation that you join, it is one you are sometimes given the option of joining. The Guardian Force is a group of Zoid Pilots Only. They fight the Backdraft when the occasion calls for it. The Shuffle Alliance is a group of Mobile Suit Pilots only. You will not be ruled out as a candidate if you are on the Servants of the Despiser. To be a member is to serve good. If you are chosen, you will recieve an email with the name "You have been chosen" There are 5 slots open for the Shuffle Alliance and a limited yet still uncertain number of slots open for the Guardian Force. Members also get free repairs. Be active and fight well and couragiously and you may get a spot!
