Lamprolina aeneipennis, male 10mm, female 15mm
We found quite a number of them on one small plants in early summer in Macgregor bush. Their wing-covers are shiny dark blue in colour. The thorax and head are dark yellow with yellow legs. Their antennae and feet are dark blue. When disturbed, they sliding down across the leaf surface and drop to the ground. But before landing on the ground, they usually start flying and disappear in the mid air.
