Saiya-Jin History

Throughout Dragon Ball Z, we have studied an extrodinary race known as the Saiya-Jins. We have learned of their many transformations, and how powerful they have become. This page will explain their history, and hopefully you will learn something new.

What does one need to possess to become a Super Saiya-Jin?

One must first have at least partial Saiya-Jin blood, they also cannot have their tail. Why they can't have their tail, I do not know. A Saiya-Jin must possess a power level over 100,000, I'll explain my theory on this, later on in this section. They need to go into a bitter rage about something, their anger will allow them to possess a far greater power, so that they can transform. Lastly the Saiya-Jin needs a pure heart, this means their heart must be purely evil, or purely good.

1. Partial Saiya-Jin blood.
2. Cannot have their tail.
3. Must possess a power level over 100,000.
4. Must be in a bitter rage.
5. Must have a pure heart.

My theory....

Indeed a Saiya-Jin must have a power level over 100,000. However, to be fully transformed they need to have a power level of at least 12,000,000.

What does one need to possess to become an Oozaru?

Well for one the Saiya-Jin must have their tail, they also need partial Saiya-Jin blood. They must also be looking directly at a full moon. On a minor note, Vegeta can transform into an Oozaru by simply using his Power Ball technique.

1. Must have partial Saiya-Jin blood.
2. Must possess a tail.
3. Must look directly at a full moon.

A false Super Saiya-Jin?

Yes there is a false SSJ. A false super Saiya-Jin is simply a Saiya-Jin who is halfway between his/her normal state, and Super Saiya-Jin. Now this could be because, he/she does not have enough power, or because they still have their tail. This is not a true form, because there are no major transformations, or different traits other then power.

The survivors

There are few Saiya-Jins that actually survived after Planet Vegeta exploded. However, there were some. Among these survivors were: Vegeta, Goku, Paragus, Brolli, Turlas, Radditz, and Nappa.
However, there are more Saiya-Jins then that, they are the offspring group. This group consists of Trunks, Gohan, Goten, Bra, and Pan.
