Site Review:  IWA

Roster

Size:  25 members
Titles:  6 titles
OOC Atmosphere:  OOC atmosphere is complete with people making excuses about not having a hangover as far as not role-playing.
Role-playing:  Par role-playing, good if you're a moderately good role-player, but will be killed if you're a beginner.

Features

Opinions:  A section where people can vote their opinion through a poll.  Can't give true opinions as doesn't allow people to ask different questions other than the ones they're told
Weekly Heeler:  Very well written, nice review of all matches

Site Design

Click On Image For Full SizeNavigation:  Fits the layout, but could be much better.  Some colors need to be fixed in some of the links, all links do work on it.  Nothing sticks out in it as special though.
Graphics:  Only one sigin of graphics on this site in the form of a top page header.  Although the one graphic is well made, it doesn't seem to be enough.  The site could possibly need more graphical enhancement, possibly as headers.
Content:  For the limited pages it has, the pages have a lot of content on them.  The one thing I have a problen with is instead of having site news they post ads for handlers to join.

Commentary

The site doesn't have a concept of "fan base" at all.   The site is mainly directed to garnishing more handlers into the fed.  As a suggestion maybe they should remove the advertisements on the main page.  That is a direct sign that they're not a very secure federation.

The lack of updates make it questionable of the federation's future.  Recorded updates will only date to being weekly.

The fed has a lack of auxiliaries to it.  It has two "opinions" and "weekly heeler" they need sections to help make the fed a more commune place like having awards, features, etc.  If I was to suggest anything it would be to have a set-up of rankings.  When you check for champions all you see is champions.   Maybe a list of contenders would help.

The OOC atmosphere doesn't look very positive.  It's filled with people making excuses about updates and role-playing.  Maybe the possibilty of having something to talk about in the fed would lighten it up like "favorite" polls.

The results are below quality.  Maybe as a suggestion not use multiple colors in the results.  Also as a suggestion maybe try to give your announcers personalities that can identify people under certain stereotypes.  Many of the moves used are similar over and over used.

Role-plays are of a par quality, to get them to a better quality as a suggestion I say either post, and give credit or make guides or write essays on role-playing for your members to read.  This way they could quite possibly improve on their abilities.

In the rules section it does not state that you can't use another person's character, thus meaning that in your role-plays you can use people.  A more organized set of rules need to be made.

They could use a facelift or a new design, the graphic clashes a lot with the site.
