Published bimonthly to members of the LEGO Club. With proof of purchase from a US/Canadian set a two year membership is free. Additional children can join for $7.95. Each issue has 12 pages. The Canadian magazines are slightly different as they has the text in both English and French. 

The stories are made of photographed pictures, with drawn captions and speech ballons. The Lego Maniac is also drawn. The plot is generally that the minifigs need help to get out of a tight spot. The Lego Maniac come to the rescue and combine two sets to something new.

January-February 1998 Issue consists of: 
  • an introduction to all of the original minifigs and the sets 5918, 5928, 5938, 5958, 5978 and 5988
  • a short story about how Howard Carter found the mummy of Tut-Ank-Amon
  • a 4 page feature story called: "Johnny Thunder and the Lost Ruby"
November-December 1998 Issue consisted solely of a 10 page feature story: "An Adventurous Holiday" where Johnny Thunder's holiday wish list is filled with gifts for museums around the world. He is off to find the magic ruby of the Pharaohs, the sword of the Shogun, a crystal from the Aquazone and an Insectoid energy orb.
January-February 1999 Issue had the following: 
  • an introduction to the minifigs and the new Amazon Jungle sets. 
  • some Space Port and ThrowBots stuff
  • Alternative building suggestions for a Hover Craft made with pieces from 5925. These is also available at www.LEGO.com/topsecret
  • a 4 page feature story called: "Johnny Thunder's Jungle Adventure"
  • and an offer for the TS10 T-Shirt at the back cover
July-August 1999 Issue is mostly about Space Port, Ninja and Star Wars but also has a 1 page feature story: "Zeppelin Adventure". This has a link to www.LEGO.com/topsecret for tips on building Rudy's Creepy Crawler with pieces from 5956.
July-August 2000 Issue has a feature story about soccer with Johnny Thunder playing for the All Star Team and Alexis and Hr. Hates playing for the All Villain Team. 
September-October 2000 Issue has the following: 
  • an introduction to the minifigs where Mr. Hates/Baron von Barron is now called Sam Sinister, previously the US aka for Slyboots. Likewise Alexis Sanister is called Alexia Sinister
  • a 3 page feature story called: "Double Trouble on Dino Island"
  • two pages loaded with facts about dinosaurs, where the Pterodactyl is decribed, not the Pteranodon
  • two pages with a Trap the T-Rex Game
  • and a count the dinos at pages 12 and 13 contest form at the back cover
November-December 2000 Issue has the following:
