Skyline: A blimp flies over the skyline.Plot: Frasier has competition from Dr Zach, whose ratings are much better than Frasier's. Frasier thinks Kenny should be promoting his show more, however Kenny doesn't think so as he thinks that throwing money at it won't solve the problem. Frasier goes to see his agent Bebe to get her to sort things out. But Frasier discovers Bebe has made her assistant Portia his new agent. Bebe says this is because her number one client can help Portia to learn how to do her job, but Frasier discovers that Bebe is also representing Dr Zach! Frasier storms out in protest. Portia tries to arrange a meeting with Frasier to discuss her ideas, but Frasier thinks she'll ruin his career and doesn't want to know - Portia seems to be quiet and high voiced, the opposite of Bebe. Later, Frasier decides to represent himself, and takes Kenny to a men's club for a massage to talk about advertising. Then Portia comes in and makes both men sit down. And as she speaks, there is no doubt whatsoever about whose assistant she once was! Frasier is pleasantly surprised with what she has to say and then accepts her as his new agent. Meanwhile Martin needs some new medicine, but doesn't want to have to do a psychical. So he tries to convince Niles to write him one. Subtitles: In Martin's Defense, Eddie Ate Some Too. Martin knows..... one of his cop buddies who pulls Niles over. Martin says he'll get Niles off the hook if Niles writes Martin a prescription. Afterwards, Martin says it was all a set up, but Niles has the last laugh - he didn't write a prediction, he'd drawn a picture of a dog! Trivia: Amongst the competition Frasier mentions is Dr Mary (as well as "Professor Hugs" and "On The Couch With Jeff & Lars"), and a few mentions of Eddie (he doesn't appear though), and Martin's doctor Dr Stewart, who was also mentioned last episode. In Bebe's office there are pictures of her clients, including Bulldog. |
