Skyline: Lightning storm.Plot: Frasier arrives at a squash tournament to find out that Niles, his usual partner, has dumped him in favour of Jim, a younger and much fitter man. Frasier is upset, but then Chelsea Gray, an attractive PE teacher, offers to partner with him. They win the tournament, much to Martin's joy (one of his sons has finally won a sports trophy!) and Frasier and Chelsea start dating. One day Frasier goes to pick Chelsea up from her school, but sees her yelling at a girl in the class- just like Frasier's old gym coach, Coach Fuller, used to yell at him! This causes Frasier to have flashbacks to his days at school, and whenever he looks at Chelsea now, he sees Coach Fuller! The only Frasier can see Chelsea as Chelsea again is if he talks with her about her coaching style, but what will become of their relationship? Meanwhile Roz and Julia have nothing to talk about - until they discover they both love insulting each other. Subtitles: Trophy Girlfriend. Trivia: Julia makes a reappearance (cue a few indirect mentions of her first radio show from Ep 222 "The Harassed", her first screen appearance), and we have another episode where we see Frasier's imagination (in this case, he sees Chelsea as Coach Fuller, which leads to some quite amusing scenes where "Chelsea" is giving Frasier a bath and in bed with him!). This episode is the second to feature a woman called Chelsea who becomes Frasier's girlfriend - the first was Ep 175 "Motor Skills". |
