Skyline: The Space Needle is decorated with Christmas lights.

Plot: It's Christmas in Seattle and Frederick is coming to visit his father for the holidays. Frasier is at Cafe Nervosa meeting Natalie Blanc from the Seattle Tourism Board. She wants him to a promo for Seattle, but when Martin and Eddie walk in she falls in love with Eddie and convinces Frasier that Eddie should be in the promo as well.

Later Frederick arrives - and to the shock of his family, he's become a Goth! Daphne says that it is just his way of rebelling, which causes everyone to remember their own teen rebellions. Except Niles - who was such a good boy he never did rebel as a teenager. Niles becomes upset that he missed out on that part of life. Niles decides to take some marijuana as a way of rebelling. Roz's neighbour makes pot brownies and Roz gives Niles one at Cafe Nervosa, where she is meeting a hunky Santa Claus. Unfortunately Martin eats it by accident and is soon high on the drug. Niles thinks he is high on the drug after eating a normal brownie and puts Martin's strange behaviour down to the effects the drug is having on him (Niles)!

Frasier meanwhile is upset - Frederick doesn't want to spend any time with him (his friend from school, Andi, is also in Seattle visiting relatives and he is with her all the time), Eddie has become the star of the promo (he is "talking" with Frasier's voice!) and Natalie leaves him during their date with an "emergency", only to go to meet another man. Frederick comes home and says Andi met another boy and is ignoring him, so father and son finally sit down and talk about their love lives.

Subtitles: High Holidays

Where Everybody Knows Your Name: Frederick returns for his possible last appearance on the show, and there is a mention of Lilith as well as Frasier points out how she failed to let him know about Frederick's new look.....

Roz loves......: A hunky Santa Claus she met. He comes to meet her in his outfit.

Trivia: So it's farewell to Christmas in Seattle, as this is the show's last Christmas episode. It is also Frederick's last appearance, closing another chapter of the show. Frasier mentions Frederick went to chess camp - he also went there in Ep 16 "The Show Where Lilith Comes Back". Christopher Lloyd writes his first episode since co-writing Ep 165 "Something Borrowed, Someone Blue". There's an indirect mention of Hester Crane, and a mention of Ronee, who made a comment about Martin's "jelly belly". Roz once again dates a Santa Claus, just like she did last year in Ep 220 "We Two Kings". And Frasier also refers to Eddie as a "no talent dog" - of course, we know better!
