Skyline: A full moon rises.

Plot: Thanks to Maris and her murder case, Niles and Daphne are becoming mini-celebrities in Seattle. Niles is always on the news, people want to talk to him, he and Daphne went to Bill Gates' house (whose wife is following the case) and he has no problem getting into exclusive restuarants. Frasier is of course very jealous.

Later Kenny sees Frasier and Roz at Cafe Nervosa and tells them it's that time of the year again - the SeaBees! Although The Frasier Crane Show isn't nominated this year, Frasier himself is nominated for a couple of specials he did. He has also been asked to open the show. Roz realises this will be dull and boring - so asks if she can bring her sister, Denise, who is in town visiting. Denise keeps going on about her husband Craig and how perfect her life is, much to Roz's annoyance. Kenny says that Frasier now has the most SeaBee nominations ever - and to get publicity for Frasier, Kenny has arranged for an old friend of his from the Seattle Times to do a story on Frasier. Frasier agrees, hoping to get some of the spotlight back from Niles.

Frasier tries to get a date for the SeaBees with his new neighbour Caroline, but thanks to a mix up by Kenny, the awards are being held on Saturday morning! When his replacement date Cindy has to cancel, Frasier asks Denise to pretend to be his date. Randy Schoonover, the reporter from the Seattle Times, arrives - as does Niles, who is taking Ronee's ticket. Randy becomes more interested in Niles than Frasier, Frasier's opening speech is cut short, Denise bursts into tears when Craig phones to say he's leaving her, and thanks to an accident Frasier has to close the disaster-prone awards as well. Will things ever go right for poor Frasier?

Subtitles: Black Tie For Men Nightgowns For Women; Wandering Eye.

It's Maris!: Maris apparently tried breaking out of jail - this isn't true, says Niles. Her eyebrow pencil rolled out of her cell and she went to get it as the bars were too far apart.....

Trivia: Final appearance of the SeaBees on the show. Denise returns from Ep 209 "The Guilt Trippers", and there are mentions of her now ex-husband Craig who appeared in that episode. The Bandleader is played by Michael G Hawkins - as well as this episode, he also appeared in Ep 61 "Moondance" as a bandleader, as Santa in Ep 57 "Frasier Grinch" and as the emcee in Ep 177 "Sliding Frasiers". First appearance of Caroline Harwick. There is a mention of Ronee as well, as she didn't want to go and so gave her ticket to Niles; and Seattle Magazine gets another namecheck. And could the fact that Frasier has been nominated for a record number of SeaBees be a slight in-joke to the fact that Frasier (the show) has a record for the most Emmys?
