• To move the Pivot Point to the Axis of Origin, enter the Pivot Point Mode using Insert on Keyboard > Select the Pivot Point and Drag it to the center where the axis cross using the Grid Snap Function. After Finishing • Turn Snap to Grid - OFF (*Refer to the Previous Image)

• We will now revolve the surface using the Revolve Surface Tool. Select
Modeling Mode of Maya from the Pulldown or press the Shortcut Key F3 and then the Profile Curve we created in our Modeling Front View. Exit the Pivot Mode using Insert again and from Maya's Header Pulldown Menu Select Surfaces > Revolve Option Box to check our setting first before Revolving. See Image .
• Change to Modeling Mode • Exit Pivot Mode • Open Revolve Option Box

• In the Revolve Option Box we will Reset settings using the UI Header Pulldown
Edit > Reset Settings. Check Image .

• Now that the
Revolve Option box is open and our Profile Curve Selected we can Revolve the Surface around our Curve to create the Staff. Use the Bottom Revolve or Apply Button provided in the Revolve Options to create our surface. See Image . (*Close the Revolve Option Box Window, no Htmel Action Link provided, sorry)

Congratulations we now have a Magic Staff Shaft
