we will use Circular Fillets
to model and integrate the Golden Gems onto the Staffs Head.
Lets first up the resolution of our Staff Shaft to get nicer
rendering results. We will insert a number of isoparms to
ensure better rendering quality.
Lets turn off Surface Masking •
Turn Off Surface Masking
•Pick our Staff.
Right Click on It >
and select Isoparms
from the Pop up Menu. See Image .
Once in Isoparm
mode we will select all the vertical Isoparms by dragging
a selection box across the staffs shaft without selecting
a horizontal placed Isoparm. See Image

After the Isoparms
are Highlighted
Yellow, telling us they
are active selections well place new Isoparms between them
by using The Edit Nurbs
Pulldown Menu and Choosing Insert

In the Insert Isoparms
Option Box
we will set make sure Between
Selection
is marked, and that the U
direction is marked also.
On the Isoparms to insert
