To all who come by these words, Greetings from the Barony of Twin Moons. We are pleased to invite you all to attend our Baronial Mid-East Feast. If you dance, there will be a contest with prizes worthy of your efforts. If you drum, there will also be a contest for the best solo. If you like to watch dancers and listen to drumming the benefits will be obvious. There will be a playroom for the children provided by Lady Sorcha. All the usual merriment will be there for all to take part in.
In addition, we are honored with a most wondrous occurrence. This year Their Majesties will bid farewell to Dietrich and Ynez, our beloved Baron and Baroness, and grant us, by Their favor, a new noble pair. For this we a truly thankful and wish to share our joy with all.
The Feast will consist of dishes from the nations of Turkey, Lebanon, and Cypress. The Fee for these delights will be $5 dollars for adults and $3 for children between the ages of 7 and 12 years. The menu is a s follows:
Mish-Mish (apricots), Toasted Pita and Hummus, Cucumber mint salad with yogurt
Burgul (cracked wheat) and Lamb, Courgettes (summer and yellow squash sautéed) with cauliflower and onion, And for desert Cheese filled birds nests (subtlety)
Reservations for the feast can be given to either autocrat from this date until August 3rd. You must have a prepaid reservation to enjoy the feast.
The Site will be the Navaho room at Mesa Community College. To find the site take your best route to the Superstition Freeway (I-60) and exit north on Dobson and the first right is the entrance. The site opens at 10:00 in the morning and closes at 10:00 in the evening. The site fee for all these wonders will be a mere $5 for adults and $2 for youngsters between 7 and 12 years old. The youngest little cherubs are free. This is a "dry" site.
