Interkingdom Equestrian Competition will be held after the classes on Sunday at the Riding Club Arena, time permitting. As some classes last year were filled prior to the Collegium, pre-registration is highly recommended. Limited classes and workshops will be filled on a "first come, first served" basis. Pre-registration will open August 1 and will close on September 23 (one week before the event). Do not send class fees with pre-registration--these will be collected by the reeve when you pay your site and feast fees. Pre-registration will be handled only by the Registrar (see below). Persons who have pre-registered for classes but who find that they are not able to attend the event are asked to contact the Registrar so that their reservations may be released for another student. For those thinking about submitting a name or device, there will be a Heraldic Consultation Table set up at the event from 1:00-5:00 PM on Saturday. If you wish to submit a name, device, and/or badge, or to inquire about the status of a pending submission, this is an ideal time to do so. An Arts & Sciences Showcase is planned for both days of the event. If you have an A&S endeavor you are willing to loan for display, please contact Ld. Shamus (see below) so that we may arrange for table space in the main lobby. Bring your best work for others to see! There are numerous lodgings available in Mons Tonitrus, and a block of motel rooms is being made available at the Best Western Mission Inn ((520) 458-8500, (800) 528-1234) for $55.00/night (plus tax). We have ten rooms set up for Friday and Saturday nights, September 29-30, for up to four people in a room. The price includes continental breakfast which starts at 6:00 AM. Advance reservations are required--the inn will hold the rooms for us until September 16, and will give us more rooms at that price as space is available. For further details or for a listing of other motels in the area, call the Hospitality autocrat (see below). The site fee for the weekend will be $5.00/person. Some materials fees may be charged for individual classes. All site, feast, and class-related fees will be collected at registration. Make checks payable to the "Kingdom of Atenveldt, SCA, Inc." The Collegium site is Cochise College Sierra Vista Campus, located at 901 N Colombo in the Barony March of Mons Tonitrus (Sierra Vista, AZ). This is a DRY site, with no camping, and no pets allowed except assistive animals. To get to the site, take 1-10 towards Benson, AZ (south of Tucson). Turn south at Exit 302/Highway 90 towards Sierra Vista and Ft. Huachuca. Travel south approximately 25 miles to the first "real" traffic light, Highway 90 Bypass, and turn cast (left). Proceed to the third traffic light, Charleston Road, and turn left. Go to the first traffic signal, Columbo, turn left into Cochise College, and follow the signs. To go directly to the Riding Club Arena/camping area, turn right on Charleston--the camping area is about ¼ mile on the right, next to the riding arena. Mark your calendars now and plan to make this the greatest Atenveldt Collegium yet!
