From Our Baron & Baroness-elect

Unto the populace of the Barony of Mons Tonitrus does Master Odinele and Lady Judith send our warmest greetings.
We would like to thank the populace for the great turnout we had for Barmaids and the polling. Though the liquid sunshine dampened the tents, it could not dampen our spirits. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did, and we thank you for the vote of confidence. We will endeavor to serve you well as your next Baron and Baroness.
Baron Phillip and Baroness Selina have promised to aid us to continue the legacy of the recent years. We look forward to seeing everyone at Investiture and Mace and Greatsword, and as always, our door is open to anyone who wishes to offer suggestions or comments.
    In Service to the Dream,
   Odinele     Judith
    Master Odinele, O.P.  Lady Judith

From Our Baronial Champion

Unto the populace of the Barony of Mons Tonitrus and all who read these words, I send thee the greatest of greetings,
The past month at Barmaids was greatly enjoyable with many barroom scenarios and an impromptu tourney organized by Lord Emain. As always, it is wonderful to fight under the shade and in the cooler temperatures of the Thunder Mountains. I would like to thank Sir Gunther and Sir Duncan for traveling all the way from the Kingdom of Ansteorra and providing us with valuable teaching of the fighting arts and numerous tales of their eastern kingdom.
This month we will once again be under the trees of Lower Garden Canyon celebrating the Mons Tonitrus Anniversary with our annual Mace and Great Sword Tournament, Investiture, and Baronial Champions events on August 25-27.
The only constant in life is change. The early Celtic people viewed all change as a positive experience. We will be witness to much of this in the month of August. First off, I would like to offer my heartfelt gratitude for their Excellencies, Philip and Selina. They have done more for this barony, and their populace, than they would like to acknowledge. At the same time, they are promoting the Dream by enjoying it more than anyone I have ever seen. In whatever their endeavors from here on out, I'm sure they will continue to prosper and have much fun doing it. I also wish to thank the officers and the populace who worked so hard to make this reign of the barony an unprecedented success.
Lastly, to Master Odinele and Lady Judith, I wish you the best of wishes in a new and glorious time. Since this is my last missive in this capacity, I wish, as always, to be…
In service to the Barony of Mons Tonitrus,
the Kingdom of Atenveldt and the Dream,
Lord Marius Conor o' Connaught
