From Our Seneschal

Unto the populace of the Barony March of Mons Tonitrus, Lady Kiara Wrynn sends greetings for the warm and sticky month of August.
I encourage all to come and celebrate the Investiture of our new Baron and Baroness, and to revel in the beauty of Garden Canyon.
We are still looking for officers. We are in need of someone to replace our hard working, wonderful A & S officer and our lovely, friendly hospitaller, so that they may take other positions. One of the fun parts of the SCA is learning about the different officer positions available. All you need is a current membership and a desire to serve. Please let me know if you are interested!
Another exciting thing to do in the SCA is to be an autocrat for an event. I have several events for next year that need a special someone to organize and run them. I have put together autocrat packets for anyone interested in hosting an event. They have instructions and ideas to get you started!
I am always open to suggestions, comments or questions you may have about anything!
    In service,
    Lady Wrynn

From Our Water Bearer

I would like to thank all of the barony for the support and encouragement I have been given since taking over this office, just a short time ago. I appreciate all the input in the form of comments and suggestions that have come my way, It really helps me to know what you want and expect. ( Please feel free to comment or suggest anytime! Foot kissing is ok too, but hugs are the best  *wink wink* :-)  I would also like to thank everyone who has been saving those plastic bottles for me! (The large soda bottles will be great for war, and the small ones seem to do pretty well for fighter practice.)  I have a donation of some larger bags from the Mistresses Barbara and Ann for the liter bottles, and also several more lengths of oxygen tubing. (I hope to try them at Barmaids, Please let me know what you think!)
    In service,
    Elaine

Sewing and Armor Nights

Well Folks,
Much as we enjoy the sewing and armor nights, the time has come to
take a break until sometime this fall when we will start again to prep for Southern Crusades. Thanks everyone for your understanding.
