produce a POWERPOINT PRESENTATION on a topic chosen from a given
list.
WHAT
TO INCLUDE:
You will be using the presentation
package called PowerPoint to create a series of slides on a chosen topic
You must produce at least 6 slides, which should include text, graphics
and animations
Think carefully about what each slide will include
Your teacher will give you some lessons to show you how to use the
PowerPoint package
There will be skills sheets available for you too
Your final slide must be a Reference list - you must list all of the
websites, books and other resource material that you have used
Look at the assessment criteria so that you know what is expected of you
WHERE
TO GET INFORMATION FROM:
There are a variety of information sources available for you to use. These
include various multimedia titles, the Internet and the information packs
your teacher will provide. You will also be taken to the library for a
lesson, to use the resources there.
You must be selective when searching for information and think carefully
about what you will include on each slide - this will need to be planned
well before you start creating the slides.
TOPICS:
Your presentation topic MUST be chosen from the list your teacher will
give you.
TIME
SCALE
You will have approximately 9 lessons to complete this unit of work.
During the last 2 lessons you will present your work to the rest of the
group.
ASSESSMENT
You will be given a level for your work and an effort grade. Details about
what you will need to include to attain a certain level are shown below.
You will also be expected to complete an evaluation of your work at the
end.
You should aim to work to the best of your ability and to demonstrate as
many of your ICT skills as possible.
