CENTER CEMETERY, East Hartford,Hartford County, Connecticut Contributed by: Pam Reid 944 Main Street Several stones are down but the problem is not serious because it is being corrected as soon as possible. Some of the 18th Century stones are weathered severely and will soon be lost. The Friends of Center Cemetery organization is working to conserve as many as possible. Gov Pitkin tablestone and Pomp Equality stone done and CW Monument will be done next. A photographic record is being done of the oldest stones. Area of the Cemetery is slightly more than 12 acres.
