Excerpts from Psalms
From Psalm 51
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your loving
kindness;
according to the multitude of your tender mercies blot
out my transgressions.
Wash me through from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my
sin...
Create in me a clean heart , O God; and renew a right
spirit within me.
Cast me not away from your presence; and take not your
holy Spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of your salvation; and uphold me
with your bountiful spirit...
O Lord, open my lips; and my mouth shall show forth your
praise.
Psalm 134
Behold, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord,
you that stand by night in the house of the Lord.
Lift up your hands in the holy place and bless the Lord;
the Lord who made heaven and earth bless you out of Zion.
From Psalm 136
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his mercy endures forever.
Give thanks to the God of Gods,
for his mercy endures forever.
Give thanks to the Lord of Lords
for his mercy endures forever.
The Gospel of John Chapter 9, verses 1-7
As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His
disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or
his parents, that he was born blind?"
"Neither this man nor his parents sinned,"
said Jesus,
"but this happened so that the work of God might be
displayed in his life. As long as it is day, we must do
the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no
one can work. While I am in the world,
I am the light of the world."
Having said this, he spit on the ground, made some mud
with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes.
"Go," he told him,
"wash in the Pool of Siloam"
(this word means Sent). So the man went and
washed, and came home seeing.
2 Cor. 4:4-6
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers,
so that they cannot see the light of the gospel
of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we
do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and
ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who
said,
"Let light shine out of
darkness,"
made his light shine in our hearts to give us
the light of the knowledge of the glory of God
in the face of Christ.
AMAZING GRACE

1 Amazing grace! How sweet the sound, that
saved a wretch like me! I once was lost but
now am found, was blind but now I see.
2 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
and grace my fears relieved; how precious did that
grace appear the hour I first believed.
3 Through many dangers, toils, and snares, I
have already come; 'tis grace that brought me
safe thus far, and grace will lead me home.
4 When we've been there ten thousand years, bright
shining as the sun, we've no less days to
sing God's praise than when we'd first begun.

May the incredible and amazing grace of our
Lord Jesus Christ be always with you!
