SUFFER THE LITTLE CHILDREN
"Let the little children come to me, and do not stop
them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom
of heaven belongs." Matt 19:14
"Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like
little children, you will never enter the kingdom of
heaven." Matt 18:3
I like to watch my seven year old son. From day to day,
month to month, year to year he goes through life in his
simple wonderful world." Why does God make trees?"
" Why does God make rain?" "Did God make cars?" He is
unhurried to the point of his parents frustration
sometimes. He doesn't have pressing deadlines, places he
must be, bills to pay, or modern day job
insecurity.
I like to watch my seven year old son.
From day to day, month to month, year to year he goes
through life in his simple wonderful world. He doesn't
worry about God, he knows God. Like all young children,
his is a simple faith. God is there, God loves him, God
watches out for him. What more does he need?
I like to watch my seven year old son. From day to day,
month to month, year to year he goes through life in his
simple wonderful world. On Easter Sunday he reached out
and gave God charge over his life. He made a certificate
that hangs on his wall that says, "I'm sorry for the
things I've done wrong. Please forgive me Jesus. Please
come into my heart Jesus and give me your gifts of
eternal life and peace."
I like to watch my seven year old son. From day to day,
month to month, year to year he goes through life in his
simple wonderful world. He plays and spends his days
doing typical kid things. He doesn't worry about God.
He knows God. He has come to God as the small child he is.
Jesus said that we should all be like little children.
We can you know. If we put our trust in Him and give Him
our troubles. If we ask Him for His rest and Peace He
will give it to us. It's there for us all, for every one
of His little children, for me and for you.
