Attention! We are in desperate need of staff members to help with the relaunch! Everyone email your resumes to Henry_Hutcheson@hotmail.com Here is a list of jobs open:

-Site designer (to design the new site layout)
-Reviewers (must be capable of buying games often)
-Previewers
-Feature editors
-Columnists (must be capable of submitting one column per week)

All jobs are currently voluntary, but that will change in the near future. Once we get at least one staff member for each job, we will launch. But unless we get enough staff members, we may not launch...at all. Reviewers, previewers, feature editors, and columnists should all submit samples with their resumes. Include past experience, age, ICQ number or AIM name, email address, and anything else pertaining to the resume. Site designer applicants should submit a few sample designs and include past experience, age, ICQ number or AIM name, etc. But if you don't have a sample design available, we may be able to work something out. But for all writing jobs, you must submit a sample with your resume. Remember, the fate of GamePlayers rests in your hands! So email your resumes to Henry_Hutcheson@hotmail.com today!

Welcome back to GamePlayers for another update! I am happy to say that I have some very important announcements to make. First of all, many of you may notice the new banner on top of the GamePlayers site. What is it, you ask? Well, it is a link to a site that has the secret to immortality! I promise you that it is real. The immortality is in the form of two rings and foot braces, both of which are very real. For those of you that watch the show Internet Tonight on TechTV, you will remember that Alex Chiu (the creater of the rings and foot braces) was a featured guest on the show. Now, do you think that one of the biggest TV shows that many people depend on would lie? I think not! To get to his site, just click the banner above and you will be linked to their. Trust me, you won't regret it. Now, on to site business. I am very happy to announce that GamePlayers will be getting a new layout, and the launch day will be on...Christmas Eve! Yes, this Sunday will be the launch day, and it will be a videogaming revolution. The site will be getting tons of new content then, old content will be erased, and we will have our new layout! Oh yeah, don't forget that the site is launching with the all new LETTERS SECTION! PLEASE send in your wacky letters full of humor and gaming stuff as well, and they will be posted and answered on the site! Well, that about concludes this update! See ya!

Ah, time for another update! Just as we promised, here is our fourth update in the new GamePlayers, right on time! Well, I have good news! First of all, I have just gotten out of school for Christmas break. That means that you can count on tons more updates! And now we're getting nearer and nearer to the site launch...what is the specific date, you ask? Well, I'm not giving you the exact date yet, but I can give you another hint. It is either sometime next week or the week of Christmas. To find out more, stay tuned to GamePlayers! On the game news side of things, Nvidia bought out 3dFX, the massive 3D card maker. That seems to be just about the only big piece of news out right now, but as always, you can expect the best and only the best news from GamePlayers! Well, that about finishes this weeks update! Check back in to GamePlayers next week for another update!

Welcome back to the new GamePlayers for the third update! We're finally starting to get back on track with GamePlayers as far as updates go, and I see that the hit counter has reached around 80 after being up for only 2 days! Keep on coming, 'cause the launch is getting nearer and nearer! We hope to launch during the Christmas holidays (Christmas break off of school), for those of you who are new to GamePlayers. Now, about content on the site. Remember how I told you about a special feature with a blue blur? Well, that feature is here! In case you haven't figured it out by now, that "blue blur" is Sega's mascot Sonic the Hedgehog! Besides being one of the coolest videogame characters ever, he's also my personal favorite character! So, what is the feature, you ask? The History of Sonic the Hedgehog! You can read the feature by going to www.oocities.org/henrye4/sonicf.doc, and it will also be added in the features section. Oh yeah, tired of our old Geocities address? Well, we now have a new, easier URL! Just type in www.gameplayersmag.cjb.net any time you want to visit GamePlayers! Oh, and don't forget to send in those wacky letters to be published on the site! Well, not much more for me to say, except for enjoy the site! See ya this Friday!

Welcome to the second update in the new GamePlayers Magazine! Okay, I admit, it's been a while since my last update. Sorry about that! While I haven't written anything more for GamePlayers (yet), I have a big feature planned (really!). Oh yeah, I finally have an exact launch date planned! It is...(drumroll...) sometime duyring the Christmas Holidays break! Okay, so it's not an exact launch date, but you can be sure that I'll let you know! Now, on to the special feature... Here's a hint: it's main focus is a little blue blur! You'll have to figure out the rest! Well, that just about wraps up the second editor's letter! See you in 5 (days) for the next update!

Welcome to GamePlayers Magazine! Or welcome back, should I say. Why, you ask? Well, GamePlayers originally existed in magazine (and site form), but they were both discontinued. Because of my love for GamePlayers, I have decided to bring it back to life! This site was originally created by Kevin Preston (Kpreston2000@yahoo.com), and I would like to thank him for letting me take over the site. You should visit his excellent F-1 site at www.coulthard-f1.co.uk! If it weren't for him, GamePlayers probably would never come back! With that aside, again I would like to welcome you back to GamePlayers, and for those of you new to GamePlayers, let me fill you in: GamePlayers was the first videogame magazine in America and printed out many great issues until it's sad demise in 1998. Well, you can stop crying now, for GamePlayers is back, and will stay for a long, long, time. Continuing with the original traditional GamePlayers Magazine style, we will feature reviews, previews, features, the much loved Network section, Connections (where gamers can meet/correspond with each other), Game Ideas, and the humorful backpage, along with all the humor that GamePlayers readers have come to know and love. So to gear up for the letters section, be sure to email all of your letters to Henry_Hutcheson@hotmail.com, and I'll answer your letters on the site! Also thanks to Kevin, we are already geared up with a nice amount of quality reviews. We are also preparing for a launch date sometime around Christmas, but we're also going to add previews, reviews, features, letters, etc. between now and then. For more info on the launch date, be sure to stay tuned to GamePlayers Magazine. Right now we are stuck at our Geocities address, but we recently registered a domain. Well, that just about wraps things up! Once again, welcome back to GamePlayers, and have fun!

Wahey, I'm back... Right, here's the lastest news, I will be very very busy for the next 3 weeks, due to University Assignments having to be handed in(started) and whatnot, so I'm guessing there will be no, or not many, updates over the coming weeks! However, here's the good news, I now have a GameBoy Colour with a Copy of PokeMon Blue(just got to beat the last boss) and I also have F1-2000 for the Playstation. I am therefore, going to add a new section to this site for the GameBoy, and I will also be adding a new section which is all things Pokemon, as I will be buying PokeMon Stadium soon...and what with the review of F1 2000, which is very good I must say, and a whole host of other new sections which I have been thinking about over the Easter, well, lets just say the futures bright! Oh and I feel I should also say about something I saw last week, the PS2 UK release date may be moving to as late as March 2001, not good I know, but hey, the best things come to those who...
