Edmonton 2001 |
Finally, about almost a year later, I have pictures from my spring trip to Edmonton, Alberta. If you don't remember what I did last May, then visit Edmonton, Alberta--Capital of Wild Rose Country to refresh your memory.

This is West Edmonton Mall, the world's largest shopping centre. Part of the mall is designed to look like the US city of New Orleans. It's called Bourbon Street. New Orleans is famous for their Mardi Gras celebrations. People in parades will dress up in these strange costumes like the one beside me. |
This is another part of
West Edmonton Mall. This section is called Europa Boulevard. It's
made to look like a European shopping street.
Personally, I think this mall is too big. It's nice to visit once, but after that, you can get very tired of the size of the mall. |

In the background is the
Alberta Legislature building. Because Edmonton is the capital of the
province of Alberta, so it's government buildings are here.
Excuse my face, my friend taking the picture must have been doing something strange. Plus, it was a really windy day when we got there. |
