Since I was in Alberta, I
wanted to visit an old friend of mine. His name is Andrew. So
one weekend, I drove 6 hours south from Edmonton to the city of Lethbridge.
Thank goodness Alberta is so flat and that the highways are very straight.
Andrew's one to my left in the picture. These are all his friends who he usually spends time with on Fridays and Sundays. Most of them are students at the University of Lethbridge and are from Hong Kong originally. We were having a Chinese lunch. |

As I was returning to
Edmonton, I passed through Alberta's large southern city, Calgary. It was
the end of the weekend and everyone was returning home from their
countryside vacations. So I got caught in a traffic jam. My car
wasn't moving very fast and we stopped a lot.
As I looked into my sideview mirror, I noticed that I could see the Rocky Mountains inside of it. Really, there are mountains in the mirror. Click and you'll see. Can you see them? |
