This area is a favourite haunt of the river ducks, and most times you will see several of them swimming around here. Ducks, Maribyrnong River Essendon
View of terraces, Maribyrnong River Essendon Further along we pass the terraces, providing tiered seating for spectators of sports events on the river.  Past the terraces, the parkland narrows to a footpath beside the roadway of the Boulevard.
The flat green fields of Aberfeldie Park are across the road on our right, the river on our left. On a still day when the water is glassy, the reflections here are quite beautiful.   Reflections of west bank in Maribyrnong River Essendon / Maribyrnong
