If you happen to be in this area around
dusk on a clear day, the setting sun provides some lovely light
effects, lighting up the reflective sides of the city skyscrapers, and
bathing the river in a soft pink and blue light.
The area close to the river is quite open, but further
up the hill, lots of mature trees provide plenty of shade.
There's also a picnic shelter in addition to picnic tables and
barbecues out in the open.
