Here's some pix with my BESTEST "gal pal" in the whole wide world...
Now who couldn't love smiles like these, eh???! *HEE HEE* This is an up-close-and-personal, taken-at-arm's-length picture of me and my bestest girlfriend in the whole wide world, Carla. *YAY* We met at good ol' Wellington Secondary School in my hometown of Nanaimo in Grade 8, and we've been extremely close ever since! We can be totally goofy around each other, and it's okay...'cuz that's what best friends are all about, right???! We always have an absolute blast together, and we can talk about virtually everything...no doubt about it! Her friendship is, and always will be, a tremendous treasure to me! *GRIN*
And here's a prime example of Carla's and my goofiness! *HEE HEE* We took these pictures around Christmas 1997 at her house, while doing one of the things we love to do together...listening to music! We're always having CD-listening fiestas, which all started because as teenagers (and still today!), we couldn't get enough of the positively AWESOME British singer, Rick Astley! And even today, we're total CD-buying maniacs when you get us in any record store! *HEH HEH* Anyways, this shot of us is so zany and fun, I just HAD to put it on here! *GRIN*
It took me a HECKUVA long time to post a new pic up here, but three years later (*LOL*), this is a FAB pic of Carla and her sweetie, Jim on her left, along with me and Dave in front of our Christmas tree on December 22, 2000! I love how this one turned out...*WOO-HOO* And, I'm also absolutely THRILLED that you've found each other, Carla and Jim! Aren't they an adorable couple???! *HEE HEE*
