Here's some pix of me (gonna get Dave in these, eventually! *LOL*) with my favourite cousin and her beloved boyfriend...
These pix were taken when Dawn and Paul (they're from Calgary, Alberta, Canada) came out to Vancouver Island to visit us in late August, 1999! *WOO-HOO* I took a day off from work, and had an AWESOME time showing them some of the amazing scenery we have here. This is a pic of Dawn and I taken at a place known as "Cathedral Grove," which is a preserved forest near Port Alberni that contains some of the oldest and tallest trees on Vancouver Island. Check out the WIDE trunk on this one behind us, eh???! *GRIN*
Here's another shot of Dawn and I, by a trail bridge at Cathedral Grove...*GRIN* The two of us are extremely close, having basically DAILY contact by e-mail, multiple times over...*LOL* We have a blast, and can talk about pretty much anything and everything!
I'm not in this pic (I'm the one taking it...*GIGGLE*), but it's a really cute one of Dawn and Paul sitting on a "tree stump bench" in Cathedral Grove. Don't they make a sweet couple? *GRIN*
This pic was taken in my family's living room after our sightseeing adventures...*GRIN* I wanted to make sure that the three of us got a pic together for prosterity's sake! *HEE HEE* Of course, we have Dawn on the left, Paul in the middle, and me on the right. Can't wait 'til they can come back for another visit...or maybe Dave and I can go see THEM in Calgary, next time???!
*WOO-HOO* Dawn, Paul, and I were reunited VERY briefly on the evening September 23, 2000 while they were on holidays to Vancouver Island...and here's the larger-than-life proof, as Dad sampled his new digital camera for Paul! *HEE HEE* It was so great to see both of them again...seems hard to believe it had been over a year since their last visit! I'm STILL very excited for them to be able to meet Dave someday, at long last...but so far, no such luck. One of these days we'll make it happen, for sure! *LOL*
