A few years ago I worked at a garden center for a large retailer. We had many kinds of customers. Some would wander among the plant tables looking very lost and a little anxious. How could they make sense of so many types, colors, and varieties of flowers? They needed some major hand-holding. Someone to tell them it was alright to try to grow a few colorful plants. It would be no disaster if they die, and they might do just fine if they only gave it a try.
