Experience the luscious taste of dates and snow jelly combined in a sweet soup that creates this classic Chinese dessert.
Procedure:
Soak snow jelly in hot water until swelled. Remove and soak in water. Discard dirt and membranes. Remove seeds of red dates, rinse and drain red dates.
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add in cleaned snow jelly and red dates. Cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
Add in rock sugar and cook until dissolved completely. Dish up and serve hot or chilled.
