Moments of Glory

These guys we originally did not think of as being particularly hot in any special way, but they grew on us. At first glance, they're fairly ordinary--or so you'd think. That's why this category is called "Moments of Glory"--there was one moment of clarity, a flash of intuition that hit you at some point in the anime, making you realize, "Hey, he isn't half bad..." That redeeming quality led to the further appreciation of these Leading Men. I just couldn't leave them out.

          Well...[he] is the second mail character in the Slayers. Some say he's a blonde haired bimbo, and that he's really, really stupid, but--barring his "uncalled for" cracks about Lina's bust size, he's really a great guy. First off, he's like a puppy: even if he's completely stumped on something, he'll keep working on it (even if it takes forever) until he comes to his conslusion, then comes running to you with his answer...Another good quality is the fact that he's REALLY strong...Last but not least, he's CUUUUTE!!! (especially when he gets that kawai dumbfounded look on his face)

          Riiya's this adorable little wolf-boy with blue hair who can change into a little white wolf at will. He's cute enough to cuddle in both forms, but I think Chacha puts it best: "Wai!! Riiya Kawaii!!" whenever he turns into a wolf to attack. He's just really cute, if kinda dense at times.

After thinking it over, I decided to put him here instead of in the Cutest Critters pages because he is a full character and not a supporting anime "pet-thing." The image came from The Riiya Page. Isn't he cute?

This anime recently made its way onto the Cartoon Network in Asia and boy, did it grow on me, especially "Teacher Seravi," as Cha-Cha calls him. He's so cute! His 'security blanket' (the talking doll Elizabeth) just adds to his charm.

His propensity for housework almost landed him in the Take Him Home to Momma category, but I decided that he fit in better here because of his many ways of distinguishing himself!

          I really like him. He is cool. Slade is very handsome in my opinion. He is also shy and mysterious--he doesn't express a lot either--that makes him really interesting to watch.

Here's another never-seen, never-heard. I should start watching more anime, now that I have some free time.

One of the acknowledged cuties of the dorm, Shinobu is the epitome of calm, cool and collected. Even under pressure, his composure never slips. The way he totally dominates his hapless sister is hilarious, especially the way he manages to turn all her plots of vengeance against her!

He knows exactly how to get what he wants from everybody with the least amount of work to show for it, and I admire him for that. He seems almost superhuman because he can do anything he turns his mind to...
