Moments of Glory
These guys we originally did not think of as being particularly hot in any special way, but they grew on us. At first glance, they're fairly ordinary--or so you'd think. That's why this category is called "Moments of Glory"--there was one moment of clarity, a flash of intuition that hit you at some point in the anime, making you realize, "Hey, he isn't half bad..." That redeeming quality led to the further appreciation of these Leading Men. I just couldn't leave them out.
Not Quite Standard Disclaimer:
The images here were gleaned from many different sites--wherever I happened to see a good picture of the Leading Man in question...In some cases I had to chop him out of a bigger picture, brighten the image itself--anything to get HIS solo mug up there. He's a great cook (teaches his own class at the Campus), would do anything for his older sisters (the reason he went around as 20 faces - they wanted him to steal stuff =Þ). Sorata is KEWL!...his part in the anime is too small (SHAME!) but he still manages to be adorable. I mean, come on, the man wants to DIE for the girl he loves...and he sorta does. He's just awesome.
I also bet that his role in the manga is far superior to the stuff we see in the anime. I guess CLAMP just could not credibly chop up 26 manga volumes into a single movie.

I think Dryden got the shaft in the series. He's the son of a wealthy merchant, and engaged to Princess Millerna of Astoria. Gawd, he's fine! :)~ So what if he needs a shave? The stubble adds to his charm. ^_^ Dryden's got a great smile and a clever mind, and boy, does he know it. Sure, he's a little cocky at times, but his vanity hides the fact that he really has a heart of gold, and the people's best interests in mind. He makes his appearance halfway through the series, and one of the first things he does is save Van's life (for that alone I will *always* like him)! ^_^ Sadly for Dryden, the object of his affection and desire believes herself in love with Allen. :(
Where's the justice, I ask you?! I like Allen, sure, but all he has to do is *breathe* and the girls swoon over him! All the other guys have to work. However, I'd like to think that Millerna comes to her senses, and the two live happily ever after. (Yes, yes, I'm one of those insane *romantics* who'd rather watch lovey-dovey couples than fawn over miserable men.) I'm not *quite* sure what category Dryden deserves to be placed in. He's not a hero, in the typical sense, but his role is too significant to call him a One Shot Wonder...

Oh, he is so perfect! What can you say about a guy who is so cute -girls- give him flowers, can make gourmet coffee, looks adorable in whatever he wears, and can throw heavy metal desks at offending helicopters. Oh, did I mention that he turns into a way cool fire dragon?
Let's not forget that he is the master of the one-liners...he has the most incredible lines. My personal favorite? "I'm the pacifist in the family." (and this while he was tossing someone through a door!)
