Freaky Factory

Basic Gameplay:

Neopians have been playing with cute little figurines for ages, completely oblivious of the dark secrets behind their production...

In this game you play a factory worker employed by Krelufun Industries, a wholly owned subsidiary of Virtupets, Inc (the corporate arm of Dr. Sloth's empire.) It's nearing the end of the quarter, and management have just sold a huge amount of little Neopet miniatures, much more than the factory could produce, but that's not their problem is it... oh no... and if that order cannot be fulfilled it's YOUR job on the line!

So it's your job to produce the miniatures. Over on the right hand side of the screen you will see what colour miniature you have to produce next. Blobs of liquid Kreludite scroll across the top of the screen. It is your job to make sure (by clicking on them with the mouse) that they fall into the correct vat. Red blobs go into the Red vat and so on.

Kreludite is a very unstable material, and prone to mutation. This is why you will see different blobs scroll across at less frequent intervals. Each one has a special effect, but you'll have to work them out for yourself. Lastly, watch out for the Grundo Thief, he'll try and steal from your production line, but you can click him to bump him on the head!

Tips and Strategies:

1. Dont just click blobs to fill up the vats that you need. Try to maintain a steady fullness in all of the vats, if you get the chance. This helps to keep the production line of new toys continuous, which means more points for you. Plus sometimes you don't get one of the colours for a bit, which can be uber annoying!

2. Remember to always keep an eye out for the Grundo that trys to steal your toys. Just click him on the head to keep him from snatching them. That one stolen toy can be the difference between a good score and a great one. With a little luck, if you happen to drop one of the blobs it can hit the Grundo and knock him back down below the conveyor belt too.

3. You can also change the colour of the toys on the conveyor belt. If a paint blob drops on the it changes them, plus if you hit one of them with an Angel Blob they get a halo, which likely improves your scoring.

4. Special blob descriptions:

  • Angry Blob - Has fangs and will cause paint spills. Try to avoid it.

  • Angel Blob - Has a halo and fills a vat to full or if it hits a toy it will gives it a halo.

  • Sponge Blob - Resembles a bar of soap and sucks up wasted paint. Very useful.

  • Winged Blob - Has wings and speeds up the conveyor belt. Very handy.

  • Icy Blob - Looks like a chunk of ice and will slow the conveyor belt. Try to avoid it.

  • Glowing Blob - Glows and will upgrade all toys.

  • Mega Blob - Available in later levels, will fill up all vats to full capacity.
