Petpetsitter (submitted by Tyleraapje)
Basic Gameplay:
Mad old Mrs. Williams has gone away and left you in charge of all her Petpets - she has so many of them she simply does not know what to do! Petpets will roam around the house and it's your job to take care of them... now pay attention...
A snoozing/sleeping Petpet - Drag tired Petpets on to the Bedroom Door.
A Robot Petpet that have smoke coming from it - drag it into the Garage!
If you see a Petpet that needs a wee, drop it off in the Bathroom!
A Petpet that keeps licking its lips - Drop hungry Petpets off in the Kitchen.
A Petpet that is wiggling/wagging its tail - drag it on to the Garden Door.
Last but not least the mighty MOP! If you see a Petpet that has made a mess then click on the Mop and drag it over the mess to clean it up!
Tips and Strategies:
1. Play in Full Screen Mode. While in the beginning you are given 20 seconds or so to place a petpet in its appropriate spot, as the game progresses this amount of time is greatly reduced, so reaction time is crucial. Playing in Full Screen Mode, since it tends to bog your computer due to the rich graphics and whatnot, will slow things down slightly, giving you the chance to respond to all the petpets' needs. This becomes extremely important in situations where 5+ petpets suddenly require your attention!
2. Play with the Sound On. As you play this game you will become more familiar with the sounds each petpet makes, depending on what its needs are. As the screen fills up with more and more of them, these sounds will aid you in spotting the few among the masses that are needing your attention.
3. The Mop is truly mighty! That's right folks, regardless of what others may have told you, cleaning up those spilled milk bottles, water pans and flower pot can make a difference. Each time you clean up a mess, you gain 10 pts. Each time a petpet knocks something over, you lose 5 points. So if there is a lull in petpet activity, grab the mop and clean up, and even if they repeatedly spill things again, you still get 5pt "profit" each time. It may seem silly to exercise the effort for such a small gain, but when it comes down to the itty gritty, those few points could be the difference between a good game and a great one. That's especially true for players looking to gain that cute avatar!
4. Practice does get you closer to "Perfection". Don't expect to get a good win the first go around, even with following this guide. As with any game, practicing often will greatly improve your gaming skills.
5. A Mouse that is clean, is a mouse that can help you go for the gold. Since this game relies heavily on quick reflexes and being able to drag petpets over to specific locations, I would recommend that you make sure your mouse is clean. Skipping or jumpy mice could cause your aim to be off when trying to put a petpet in its place and/or lead you to miss your targetted petpet entirely.
