Whack-A-Kass (submitted by Tyleraapje)
Basic Gameplay:
An evil villain is standing high above, in his floating citadel of death. He is plotting to destroy your land, so what do you do? Make a plushie that looks like him and hit it with a stick of course!
Whack-A-Kass is the most popular sport in Meridell at the moment (for obvious reasons). To play, grab a plank of wood (or something roughly the same shape), wait for the wind to be in your favour, and press the left mouse button to send Kass flying. Hitting Kass over large distances may even unlock bonus levels! Good luck!
Tips and Strategies:
1. Always wait till the wind is +9 before clicking the kass to drop it from the tree and taking a swing at it, to get the best nudge of distance.
2. Once you work your way up through the levels using the other batting tools, always go with the bat (you start off with bread, then stick. To get the better tools you make good scores to open that option up). When you click the kass to make it drop, you need to try to time your swing (the bat swings slowest I think) so that you catch it with the tip of your bat. Only thing to do is practice with your timing.
3. Very important, when you click your mouse to swing your bat (and assuming you make contact with the kass and send it flying), hold down the mouse button so that the kass's wings stay closed, it goes higher into the air that way. Once it reaches the peak of its flight, you can let go of the mouse so that the kass can flap its wings again to travel a bit farther on its way down.
4. Lastly and the most tricky part of the whole game is the landing. When the kass finally reaches the ground, it will bounce a couple of times. Your job is to try to get it to bounce more than that. The kass makes a "boing" sound each time it hits the ground. If you can time it right, you want to click your mouse each time you hear the "boing", to encourage the kass bounce again and again (some have claimed to get it to bounce up to 5 or 6 times, most I've managed is 4), which adds to the distance that is calculated.
